EQUANS are recruiting for a Senior Site Manager with an Electrical bias to be based in Lincoln. This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company car and benefits package.
General Overview
The Senior Site Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic oversight of complex and large-scale construction projects. This role involves managing multiple site teams, coordinating with senior management, and ensuring that all project activities align with the company’s goals and client expectations. The Senior Site Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of projects, overseeing quality, safety, financial performance, and stakeholder management. This position plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the company’s reputation for delivering high-quality construction services.
Key Accountabilities
Project Leadership and Strategy:
Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for large-scale or complex construction projects. Ensure that all site activities align with the project goals, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Management:
Lead the implementation of the company’s health, safety, and environmental policies on-site, ensuring that all activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Conduct high-level safety audits and ensure that safety culture is maintained across all site teams.
Team Leadership and Development:
Manage and mentor site managers, supervisors, and other key personnel, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance. Provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of all site activities. y audits and ensure that safety culture is maintained across all site teams.
Quality and Compliance Oversight:
Oversee quality assurance processes across multiple sites or large projects, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards and complies with industry regulations. Address any quality issues at a strategic level.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, senior management, and key stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships and ensure that all parties are kept informed of project progress, challenges, and any necessary changes.

Who are we looking for?
- NVQ L6 or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Site Management, or a related field. (Desirable)
- Good understanding of The Building Safety Act 2022 and implications on site.
- Professional certifications (e.g., SMSTS, JIB Gold card, CSCS card – Black / White).
- First Aid certification, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Scaffold Inspection, and other relevant health and safety qualifications.
- Extensive experience in a senior site management role within the construction industry, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale or complex projects
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and their application in large or complex construction projects.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading large site teams and managing multiple stakeholder.
