We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Support Services Manager to join our Facilities Management team working at a prestigious central government building in Westminster. This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
The role:
- Reporting to the Senior Operations Manger – Security
- Responsible for day-to-day and strategic management of Contract Performance through the management of the CAFM system, the Service Desk and administration function
- Ensure that all services are measured and reported consistently to the required standard and that they meet the specific requirements of the FM Contract, Authority Requirements (PA), and our clients
- Responsible for day-to-day monitoring of performance and operational reporting to understand and analyse contract performance, for planned and reactive tasks
- Provide and deliver monthly performance reports with the assistance of the Management and Administration team to identify issues and pro-actively offer solutions to improve performance, to include implementation of action/improvement plans where required
Produce monthly deduction and service reports, daily/weekly updates, and other reports as required - To act as a Maximo superuser (CAFM system) performing the necessary training, set up and improvement actions on the contract
- To monitor expenditure and income within agreed budgets, to maximise profitability of operations
- To lead in the recruitment, induction and ongoing training, development and motivation of staff
- Ensure the implementation and adherence of contractual and statutory compliance is adhered to
- Assist in the management of all HR related issues, where appropriate, in line with company policy.
- Working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
The person:
- Must have experience of managing service delivery of Soft Services with experience of managing and developing a team, including HR issues

Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills

Capability of promoting and managing positive relationships with all stakeholders

Good working knowledge of CAFM systems, Maximo and Condeco in particular

Computer literate with a range of office applications: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Forms & Flow etc.
- First class customer care skills with proven ability to consistently go the extra mile
- Must have experience of managing site compliance
- Please note – Employment in this post is dependent upon obtaining security clearance; this requires 5 years’ residency in the UK and a valid British or EU passport
