What does a Payroll Case Officer do?

  • ensure the processing and follow-up of specific populations requiring manual actions
  • resolve DMFA errors and contribute to preventive solutions alongside the Payroll Coordinator and experts
  • verify timesheets in the time registration system for accurate payroll calculations
  • perform checks on exceptional calculations and correct past payroll periods
  • investigate inquiries or issues, resolve errors and provide clear answers to employees
  • keep user documentation and time admin guides up to date
  • update work instructions to enhance efficiency and clarity
  • test new functionalities or changes in the time registration system or SAP
  • resolve negative payrolls and master data errors in preparation for payroll closure
  • manage payroll closure for the SWT population

What do you bring?

  • at least 8-10 years of experience as a Payroll Officer
  • knowledge of SAP HR is a significant asset
  • advanced knowledge of payroll processes
  • experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel
  • strong analytical and administrative skills
  • a team player with excellent communication skills, structured and detail-oriented
  • fluent in Dutch and French

Within the payroll services team, two roles are defined: Payroll Services Officer and Payroll Case Officer. Together, you ensure the accurate processing and input of all necessary master data and time information to guarantee precise payroll calculations.
