Equans is looking for a Electrician to join our team on the Coca Cola contract, based onsite at their site in East Kilbride. This is a permanent role on a Part Time basis working 24 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and in addition you will receive an excellent benefits package. 

Working hours: Monday to Wednesday 07:30 – 16:00.

What will you deliver?

  • Operate and maintain electrical systems in accordance with company procedures, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee third-party contractors, ensuring work is conducted safely and professionally.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Handbooks.
  • Complete all administrative duties accurately, including maintaining logbooks and IT-based records.
  • Ensure compliance with Company and site procedures related to the contract and Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • Represent EQUANS professionally in all customer and external interactions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customer representatives and ensure all service agreements are fulfilled to the highest standards.

Who are we looking for?

  • Must have successfully completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship and have a proven experience in a similar role carrying out electrical maintenance duties.

  • Hospital maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.

  • Be competent to undertake/assist work on the type of building service systems and equipment for which the appointment is sought.

  • Be familiar with the type of systems and equipment on which work is required to be undertaken.

  • Possess technical knowledge and sufficient experience to avoid any danger that may be presented by the work to be undertaken.

  • Have an adequate knowledge of and within the preceding three years have received training in first aid (including CPR Training). If not held, training will be given.

  • Desirable but not essential to have some knowledge of all the relevant Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM) and to work within Permit to Work procedures as appropriate SHTM 06 – 01, BSRIA, L8, pressure systems Regulations 2000, etc).

  • Must be able to obtain a Disclosure Scotland at a Basic Level
