Equans is recruiting for a Painter to be based in Dungeness B Power Station, Romney Marsh, TN29 9PX. This is a permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Shift:

Mon – Thurs 0700-15.30
Fri 0700 – 12.00

Please note this role includes DBS clearance, therefore, ability to pass is essential 

What will you deliver?

As the Painting Supervisor you will supervise a team of painters who are responsible for painting and maintenance routines as well as identification and repair of faults. You will be an integral part of the Equans Hard Services team based at Dungeness.

Who are we looking for?

• City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent method of training in Painting Course
• PASMA/IPAF Qualified 
• CSCS 
• Shot blasting / paint spraying experience / qualifications
• Rounded educational background – likely to include 5 GCSE passes (or equivalent). · 
• Proven knowledge of Health & Safety legislation 
• Previous work experience in the nuclear sector / industrial environment advantageous, specifically high voltage plant / equipment
• Proven ability in the preparation of reports and information using packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Suitable relevant technical experience including the preparation of technical documentation, the review and approval of technical proposals and procedures, experience of construction, testing and commissioning activities
• Experience of supervising and setting contractors/sub-contractors to work in their roles and experience in leading a project team
