Are you a proactive and detail-driven Project Coordinator with 5+ years of experience in the electrical or communications industry? Equans is seeking a high-performing professional to support our Project Manager and ensure the seamless delivery of complex projects across NSW.
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and keen Project Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting our growing pipeline of projects within our Electrical and Communications division in our Silverwater office.
This role will be working alongside a dedicated Project Manager, you will play a key role in the planning and coordination of various project initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively within a skilled and supportive team.

What you will be doing
- Provide high-level administrative and project support to the Project Manager.
- Act as a consistent point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including orders, invoices, SWMS and tenders.
- Coordinate labour and materials, including technician scheduling and timesheet accuracy.
- Maintain compliance by monitoring licenses, certifications, and company procedures.
- Support on-site staff with direction and ensure smooth project execution. Identify and resolve project-related risks and issues as they arise

- Uphold quality, safety, and operational standards across all assigned projects.
What you need
- 5 years’ experience in a similar Project Coordinator role.
- Robust understanding of project workflows in electrical, communications, or construction environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in project management and office software (e.g., MS Great Plains, Excel, etc.)
- A proactive problem solving initiative and a keen eye for detail.

- Relevant qualification in Project Management/Business desirable.
