Equans is looking for an Senior IT Business Analyst – HRIS to join our team on a 12 month secondment basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

The Senior IT Business Analyst – HRIS plays a key leadership role within the HR Systems Transformation Programme, specialising in HR  and wider HR technology. This role leads complex HRIS initiatives, providing strategic insight, shaping end‑to‑end HR processes, and ensuring the successful migration and integration of SuccessFactors into the EQUANS IT and business ecosystem.

As a senior member of the Architecture & Analysis Practice, you will influence decision‑making, guide HR and IT stakeholders, and ensure that HRIS solutions align with EQUANS’ strategic objectives. The role requires strong HR domain knowledge, excellent analytical capability, and the confidence to challenge, advise, and lead others across the programme.

What will you deliver?

Leadership & Strategic Influence

  • Act as the senior HRIS specialist, influencing HR and IT decision‑making across the SuccessFactors transformation.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on HR process design, operating model changes, and system capabilities.
  • Lead complex analysis activities across multiple HR domains (Employee Central, Talent, Recruitment, Performance, Learning).
  • Provide direction to business analysts, partners, and third‑party suppliers, ensuring consistent standards and high‑quality deliverables.
  • Deputise for the Head of BA Practice or Principal Business Architect when required, ensuring continuity of HRIS analysis and governance.
  • Line manage IT Business Analysts/Junior Analysts working on the programme as required.

HRIS Transformation & Process Ownership

  • Lead the capture, analysis, and modelling of HR processes using BPMN, ensuring alignment with the Target Operating Model.
  • Own as‑is and to‑be HR process design across all SuccessFactors workstreams.
  • Validate integration points and data flows between SuccessFactors and other EQUANS platforms.
  • Shape HR service delivery models, ensuring processes, roles, governance, and technology align with programme outcomes.
  • Assess change impacts and contribute to transition planning for the new HR landscape.

Target Operating Model & To‑Be Design

  • Lead the evolution of the HR Target Operating Model, ensuring it aligns to the overall SuccessFactors Transformation Programme and supports long‑term HR service delivery.
  • Translate strategic HR objectives into clear, future‑state designs covering processes, data flows, roles, and organisational structures.
  • Ensure future‑state processes maximise the value of SuccessFactors standard capabilities and integrate seamlessly with the wider HR and business ecosystem.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with senior HR, IT, and programme stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex HRIS concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Influence stakeholders to adopt standardised processes and technology recommendations.
  • Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, issues, and design considerations.
  • Represent HRIS analysis in governance forums, steering groups, and programme reviews.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience as a Business Analyst specialising in HRIS or HR transformation programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors modules and end‑to‑end HR processes, with the ability to apply this in complex organisational environments.
  • Proven experience delivering SuccessFactors migrations, integrations, and optimisation activities, including cross‑modular scenarios and third‑party solution interactions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of how SuccessFactors operates within a wider business ecosystem, enabling informed recommendations, solution options, and cost/benefit analysis.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, integrations, APIs, middleware, and HR data flows, including interoperability with other enterprise systems.
  • Hands‑on experience analysing and optimising HR business processes, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into practical HRIS design decisions.
  • Deep understanding of integration concepts and patterns (e.g., APIs, middleware, data transformation) and how they apply to HR technology landscapes.
  • Skilled in requirements analysis, prioritisation (MoSCoW), gap analysis, and applying techniques such as SWOT to support complex decision‑making.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, able to simplify complexity while maintaining rigour and attention to detail.
  • Extensive experience mapping and optimising business processes and data flows for migration and integration activities.
  • Proficient with SAP Signavio (Process Manager/Collaboration Hub), Visio, Lucidchart and similar tools for modelling, governance, and process analysis.
  • SAP SuccessFactors certification advantageous but not essential.
