EQUANS is recruiting for a Security Officer to be based in Becket House, 1 Lambeth Palace Road, London SE1 7EU. This is a permanent full time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £28,878.57 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern: 

4 on 4 off shift pattern, 07:00-19:00

Overview:

To form part of a fully integrated guarding service, which is operational 24 hours a day,7 days a week, 365 days a year, ensuring that the service provided is professional, timely and in keeping with all contractual requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • You will be required to pass through a range of referencing and vetting checks.
  • You must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years with a 5-year work history unless you have been in education.
  • A background, qualification, or interest in the delivery of site security and/or customer service will be an advantage.
  • Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed. 
  • Possess a valid SIA License.

Who are we looking for?

  • SIA / CCTV licence

  • Previous Supervisor Experience
  • Excellent knowledge and working experience in a high-profile security industry/customer focused environment.

  • A high-level client/customer focused approach and able to represent the Company in a professional and discreet manner always.

  • Knowledge of public safety and security

  • Ability to work with confidential and classified information.

  • Knowledge of standard security and safety protocols.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team.

  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments.

  • Working knowledge of relevant computer applications.

  • Team-player with a positive attitude to work.

  • Personal presentation ambitious standards.

  • First aider
