Industrial Operative

Equans is looking for an Industrial Operative to join our team in EDF Hinkley Point B, Bridgwater, TA5 1UD on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary per annum and benefits package

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30 Friday 07:00 to 12:30 

Please note this role includes CTC clearance, therefore, ability to pass is essential

What will you deliver?

• Undertake day to day duties, associated with an industrial environment. This may include manual labouring, industrial cleaning, operating various equipment, carrying out confined space works, fire watching duties, pumping of sumps, assisting various skilled teams, driving and such as grass cutting, in accordance with Company standards.
• Carry out work safely and efficiently, as directed by Supervisor/Team Leader.
• Ensure all equipment used is done so to Company and/or manufacturers standards.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience in the Industrial Field Preferred.
• Ideally, experience of heavy-duty cleaning and COSHH awareness are preferred, however, on-the-job training will be provided for those successful candidates with limited experience.
• An intermediate knowledge of health and safety requirements in a similar environment.

What you will deliver:

The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing all security operations to ensure the safety and protection of personnel, assets and information. The Security Manager will work to minimise risks, enhance the overall security delivery and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Manage day to day operations

• Liaise with client staff as needed

Requirements:

• SIA Licence (CCTV, Security Guarding / Door Supervisor)

• Leadership experience, including staff management, training and performance oversight

• COSHH / IOSH Diploma in Health & Safety

• First Aid at Work / Mental Health First Aid certification

• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection in security operations

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders and clients

Premises Officer

Equans is looking for a Premises Officer to join our team in COLAT, Palmers Green, London, N13 5TY on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £30,000 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern - Mon to Friday 0630 - 1530 with flexibility to work evenings where required. 

Please note an enhanced DBS is required for this position. 

What will you deliver as a Premises officer.

To provide a focal point for the resolution of facilities requests reported either onsite or through the dedicated facilities management helpdesk. To ensure the satisfactory completion of any assigned tasks including installations, repairs, planned maintenance tasks and also general premises checks.

Premises Officer

Equans is looking for a Premises Officer to join our team in COLAT, Palmers Green, London, N13 5TY on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £30,000 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern - Mon to Friday 0630 - 1530 with flexibility to work evenings where required. 

Please note an enhanced DBS is required for this position. 

What will you deliver as a Premises officer.

To provide a focal point for the resolution of facilities requests reported either onsite or through the dedicated facilities management helpdesk. To ensure the satisfactory completion of any assigned tasks including installations, repairs, planned maintenance tasks and also general premises checks.

Part time Afternoon Cleaner

Equans is recruiting for a Part Time Afternoon Cleaner to be based in Noel Baker Academy DE24 0BR, this is a permanent role working 15 hours per week. On offer is salary of £8,974.35 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

49-week contract

15 hours a week Monday -Friday 15:30 -18:30

Including:

4 weeks set holiday No holiday is to be taken during term time or when deep cleans are taken place

4 weeks deep clean

Deep clean dates are given 1 year in advance which normally fall as below:

Deep clean 4 weeks a year

• February 1 week Monday – Friday 7am -11:30am

• April 1 week Monday – Friday 7am – 11:30am

• August 2 weeks Monday -Friday 7am -11:30am

What you will deliver

As the on-site Cleaner, you’ll keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety whilst maintaining a professional manner with all members of staff and general public. 

For this role you must undergo an Enhanced DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.
