Equans is looking for an HR Project Lead to join our team in Newcastle on a 24 month FTC basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
The HR Project Lead will support the delivery of the numerous projects for the UKBU to standardise and transform HR & Payroll Administration.
What will you deliver?
- Migration of a payroll for approx. 2,000 employees to SAP, ensuring all HR Admin processes support business needs.
- Divestment of approx. 200 employees to Bring Energy
- Support the design and implementation of a case management solution for Employee Services (HR & Payroll Admin).
- Support the discovery and design phase of HRIS solution for the UKBU.
- Project Nutmeg support
- EDF contract demobilisation
- Data Management solution
- Review and implement provider to support efficient, compliant pre- employment procedures.

Who are we looking for?
- Leadership skills
- Change and project management.
- Understanding of current/upcoming HR & Payroll legislation.
- Process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
- The ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels.
- The ability to utilise data insights to identify and drive strategic goals.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of HR & Payroll solutions
- Experience within operational and strategic HR Admin & Payroll service delivery
- Payroll implementation and systems development.
