CAD Operator

EQUANS are looking for a CAD Operator working for our EQUANS North West & Central contract in Liverpool. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications & Experience:

•Two years’ professional experience using AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of drafting standards and best practices.

•Experience with creating and managing parametric blocks is preferred.

•Familiarity with Revit, BIM 360, and Navisworks is highly advantageous.

•Autodesk certification in AutoCAD and Revit is preferred

•Ideally experienced in Bolster to record compliance, although training will be given.

General Overview

•The Auto CAD Operator will perform a variety of minor design/drafting/space planning, room moves and minor building works.

•Establishing guidelines and procedures for CAD data management.

•Establish filing guidelines for drawings to maintain up-to-date drawings.

•Survey and update of existing ‘as built’ drawings

•Preparing/updating/validating installation drawings for small projects and variations

•Revision and update of existing drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with Lifecycle and Capital delivery team to ensure consistent documentation of the projects.

•Convert drawings to DWG format.

•Upload and maintain Bolster system.

•Ensure documentation is held for all aspects of the O&M manuals

•Update and maintain electronic filing systems.

•Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation (such as drawings, bill of materials, list of design parameters, and performance guarantees) for future reference.

•Review and modify information with supervision by the Project and Planning Managers (both Equans and Client side). 

•Maintain and update Asset database to ensure accurate asset details are maintained

•The Auto CAD Operator will demonstrate excellent attention to detail
