Equans is looking for a PFI Asset Manager to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive and benefits package.
The post holder will be responsible for the management of the Asset Management systems and operations across the Equans London Schools portfolio of c15 PFI Schools and assisting the Lifecyle Manager in the delivery of the overall lifecycle replacement plans in conjunction with the Equans London Schools management team and operational teams, including assisting in the delivery of capital works, service variation and lifecycle projects as part of the project delivery team as required.
The Asset Manager will ensure that the Asset Management systems and operations across the Equans London Schools portfolio of c15 PFI Schools are maintained and accurate to ensure contractual compliance and a safe school environment and assist the Lifecyle Manager in the delivery of the overall lifecycle replacement plans in conjunction with the Equans London Schools management team and operational teams.
We are looking for a driven individual to add expertise and rigour to the Equans London School management. The individual will be able to demonstrate flexibility and efficiency in responding to a changing workload and business imperatives while able to establish excellent working relationships within the existing team and stakeholders alike. Experience within a contractual environment maintaining asset management systems and databases is essential, ideally in a PFI / government environment.
What will you deliver?
- Ensure that asset registers, databases and CAFM systems are maintained and accurate at all times
- Liaising with the Equans Lifecycle, CAFM, and Helpdesk teams to ensure consistency of all asset management records
- Collaborate with the relevant Equans teams in the scheduling of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial works as required
- Provide asset reporting systems to the Equans London Schools management and operation teams, and client representatives
- Generate periodic reports for client reporting and performance reports to identify areas for improvement
- Assist the London Schools management and operational teams in the delivery of lifecycle replacement and upgrade projects
- Support in developing annual maintenance plans in conjunction with the Lifecycle manager and Equans London Schools teams, and client representatives as required
- Monitor, report and communicate asset financial performance
- Assist in the co-ordination of operatives, sub-contractors and suppliers in a planned and controlled manner ensuring asset efficiency and minimising costs
- Act as a point of contact, managing relationships with all stakeholders, consultants and service providers, with emphasis on client satisfaction and business excellence
- Implement and comply with Equans’ policies and procedures, all legal requirements and best practice including regular safety inspections within the allocated business area
- Completion and / or review of risk assessments for on-site work activities
- Produce progress and other reports, as requested, to a high standard
- Requirement to work within and around a school environment (as appropriate)

Who are we looking for?
- Demonstrable experience in asset management for an FM provider
- Thorough understanding of the principles of asset management
- Experience CAFM systems in an FM environment
- qualification in project management (e.g. Prince2) and H&S (e.g. IOSH)-Desirable
- experience of PFI project delivery-Desirable
- experience in PFI schools / healthcare / government contracts-Desirable
This role includes a DBS Enhanced check therefore ability to pass is essential.
