Lead Our Electrical and Communications Administration Team at Equans ANZ – A proud world leader in technical services.

Equans, a leading technical services provider across Australia, New Zealand, and globally, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Administration Manager. In this role, you will lead our Electrical and Communications team at our Fairfield office, supporting day-to-day operations, compliance, reporting, invoicing, and general administration.

While it is preferable that you have with exposure to multi-service, facilities management and/or maintenance business, it is not required.

What you will be doing:

Support the State Manager through assisting in developing, implementing, and monitoring effective systems and processes, and align your work with the strategic, operational, and financial goals.

Leadership and administration, including management of administrative staff, ensuring effective service delivery to clients. Overseeing all office operations, including supplies and facility maintenance.

Maintain operational efficiency through implementing streamlined administrative processes and identifying areas for improvement. Coordinate labour and materials for projects, optimising efficiency where possible.

Were appropriate, allocate work to Project Coordinators and monitor their performance.

Facilitate recruitment, induction, and training of Project Coordinators and other administrative roles.

Manage the processes required for supplier and technician management by overseeing onboarding of subcontractors, suppliers, and technicians.

Financial responsibilities will include handling month-end invoicing and assist with financial reporting. Monitor job profits and service call backlog.

Safety and compliance requirements will see you assisting with Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) completion and ensuring adherence to operational policies and safety procedures.

What you need:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a people leadership role.
  • The ability to become an expert in the Company core business systems.
  • A confident and initiative-taking temperament.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with clients, colleagues, and technicians in a clear and confident manner.
  • Proven aptitude for managing competing priorities with successful deliverables.
  • Openness to learn how to use multiple new computer systems/programs.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer & MS Office skills.
  • Experience with Great Plains highly desirable, but not necessary.
