EQUANS is looking for an Office Services Administrator to join our team based at Heysham Nuclear Power Station on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.  Responsible for ensuring the efficient handling of all calls to the Service Desk. This will involve logging, planning, and dispatching of reactive and planned tasks.  Responsible for providing a professional ‘Front of House’ service on site. Duties include dealing with client requests and dealing with telephone enquiries as well as support to the Office Service team.  What will you deliver?  

  • Undertake General office admin duties.
  • Using the photocopier and Scanning of documentation.
  • General filing.
  • Answering and diverting the Main Switchboard.
  • Receiving, acknowledge, distributing and posting of mail.
  • General filing.
  • Help desk.
  • All other associated reception tasks.

  Who are we looking for?  

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with Management as well as front line operatives.
  • General Clerical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload as required.
  • Good communication skills and knowledge of computers (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Proficient use of helpdesk systems and processes requests in an efficient manner.
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment (Desirable).
  • Experience of working within Facilities Management (Desirable).
