Equans is looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Kingston upon Thames on a Permanent basis. This is a full time role. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.

Working hours are Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating shift of the following times:

Early – 08:00- 16:30

Mid – 09:00- 17:30

Late – 10:30- 19:00

What will you deliver?

  • Deliver a wide range of planned & reactive maintenance works at the Kingston student living sites (Seething Wells, Kingston Hill)
  • Provide initial response to all Reactive Maintenance requests during normal working hours and Out of Hours as part of the On-call Out of Hours Rota
  • Quarterly shower head & hose cleaning in accordance with L8 requirements (full training will be provided)
  • Continuous monitoring and maintenance of mechanical systems, fittings and plantrooms
  • Weekly fire alarm testing on the student accommodation
  • Bi-annual Fire Door inspections (full training will be provided), ensuring necessary adjustments are completed / faults & damage recorded accurately

  • Attend to faults with domestic water supply & drainage systems / other plumbing works including but not limited to resolving blocked toilets & drains, changing taps, shower valves, etc

Who are we looking for?

  • Suitable trade discipline qualification (minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of ACOP L8 desirable
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, under own initiative or through instruction
  • Computer literate with good organisational and administration acumen
  • Full UK driving licence
