EQUANS is currently recruiting a Security Manager to join the team at Becket House, Lambeth Palace Road, SE1 7EU. This is a full time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The role comes with a competitive salary , along with an attractive benefits package.

Shift Times:

Monday to Friday – 8 hrs to be worked anytime between 5am and 9pm,

There is also availability to be on call on weekends and nights as per the business requirement and emergency situations.

What you will deliver:

The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing all security operations to ensure the safety and protection of personnel, assets and information. The Security Manager will work to minimise risks, enhance the overall security delivery and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security management, risk assessment, and investigative procedures, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Manage day to day operations

• Manage manning and guarding provision levels

• Manage Scheduling and staffing via electronic booking systems

• Ensure compliance with ISO27001 security standards through policies, procedures and audits

• Provide security training and guidance across all sites

• Work to enhance security measures

• Conduct risk assessments, welfare checks and health and safety meetings

• Deliver staff training

• Support business continuity and contribute to the overall security delivery

• Ensure security compliance

• Investigate security incidents

• Manage staff performance via internal company processes

• Prepare security reports

• Liaise with client staff as needed

• Act as the primary point of contact for client security-related queries and audits

• Liaise with external contractors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies on all security matters

Requirements:

• SIA Licence (CCTV, Security Guarding / Door Supervisor)

• Leadership experience, including staff management, training and performance oversight

• COSHH / IOSH Diploma in Health & Safety

• Strong knowledge of security best practices, protocols and procedures

• First Aid at Work / Mental Health First Aid certification

• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection in security operations

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders and clients

• Proficiency in security technology systems, including CCTV, access control and alarm systems
