Equans is looking for a Stores Person to join our team on our contract with Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals on a permanent basis. You will be required to work across the different hospitals within the contract which include, Sandwell, Midland Metropolitan University, City and Rowley Regis Hospitals.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?

Ensure all stock is received and stored in the correct manner

Undertake continual audit of stores booked in and out of stores using a combination of review of records, data from technology such as CCTV and access control and stock takes

Generate purchase orders for stock items needed using purchasing system Coupa to ensure stock is ordered and replenished in timely manner to prevent delay in rectifying faults. This duty is to be undertaken in coordination with the administrative team

Updating the CAFM system (Maximo) when stock has arrived so ATSM’s can issue stock out to the relevant jobs

Liaise with Helpdesk when parts are received to allow jobs to be re-assigned

Management of the stock and inventory in the stock control management system

Keep inventory management systems up to date and keep a record of and report any frequent shortages or spare items

Carry out regular stock takes
- Work closely with the wider teams including Finance
- Use a company van to travel between the different sites to undertake stock checks

Who are you?
-
Previous experience within stock control
- Administration experience
- Educated to GCSE standard
- Good interpersonal & communication skills and telephone manner
- Word processing, Mail sorting and delivery, Statutory Document collation and distribution, data input and filing both hardcopy and electronically
- Strong IT skills including full range of Microsoft applications (Office, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of CAFM and Finance systems (Coupa, Maximo)
- Valid driving licence
This role includes a DBS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential.
