FLT Waste Operative
Equans is looking for multiple FLT Driver and Waste Operative to join our team in Coca-Cola, DA14 5DF on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 42.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £31,161.00 per annum and benefits package.
Working Hours:
Monday-Friday 11:00-19:00
1 in 3 Saturdays and 1 in 3 Sundays 07:00-15:00
What will you deliver?
- Responsible for all basic Health and Safety rules, FLT pre -inspection checks and Balers pre – inspection checks.
- Reporting any near miss, incident, and accident.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Operating plastic and cardboard balers.
- Collecting waste from various waste stations in the CCEP factory.
- Processing waste and correctly segregating waste.
- Correctly storing waste in the designated holding areas and keeping the area tidy.
- Transporting Staff drinks from the Process yard to the Dusmo.
- Keeping the FLT track clean.
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to our client.
- Assisting with other duties inside the factory, when need it.

EQUANS are recruiting for a Cook and Kitchen Assistant to be based in ST David's Hospital, Cardiff, CF11 9XB. This is a permanent part time role working 30 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £17,846.40 per hour and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Operative to join our Facilities Management team at North Middlesex University Hospital in Edmonton. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day between 7am & 7pm, Monday to Friday.
The role:
- Reporting to the Grounds Supervisor.
- Maintain the hospital grounds to a professional standard including emptying outdoor bins, litter picking and road sweeping
- Carry out snow clearing
- Strimming, mowing, weeding, seasonal clearance of fallen leaves and removal of fallen branches
- Use relevant tools and equipment, drive company vehicles and machinery safely
- Assist trades staff in maintenance work when needed

The person:
- Previous experience of grounds work is preferred but not essential

Electrical Service Maintenance Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Service Maintenance Manager to join our maintenance team working at a prestigious central government building in Westminster. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
The role:
- Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager - Property Services
- To efficiently manage the provision of Electrical Hard Services according to contractual and commercial requirements.
- To manage all operations to ensure the health and safety of all users of the facilities; to build a relationship of trust with all stakeholders; to build a skilled team that is motivated and engaged.
- Effectively manage processes and develop and implement standards for the site set by the Company and PFI contract.
- To have a good understanding of the PFI contract (PA/CS) – in particular Sch 21
- To build a skilled, collaborative team, that is motivated and engaged to deliver a quality of service that is ”best in class”.
- To manage projects, variations and lifecycle works from inception to completion as required: providing and maintaining all documents, O&M’s/drawing and warranties
- To manage all subcontracted services ensuring subcontractors are able to carry out their duties in a safe and timely manner and that work is contractually compliant.
- To successfully manage all aspects of the PFI contract, in compliance with legislative and contractual requirements, ensuring that all QSE standards are met.
- Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
The person:
- Must have significant experience in a similar role i.e. hard services FM background, ideally in a similar environment
- Relevant industry qualifications ideally to HND level or above in electrical engineering is essential
- Ability to manage workforce teams and strong knowledge in HR managed processes
- Good level of commercial awareness desirable
- Hold a minimum IOSH Health & Safety qualification
- Experience of sub-contractor management
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Desirable to have held government security clearance
- Desirable to have prior experience working on a PFI contract
- Employment in this post is dependent upon obtaining security clearance; this requires 5 years’ residency in the UK and a current British or EU passport.

Als Senior QC Inspecteur bij Equans in Hoek ben je verantwoordelijk voor het adviseren over en toepassen van lasmethodes, lascodes, lasvoorschriften, lastoevoegmaterialen, lasapparatuur en de benodigde voorzieningen. Je stelt zelfstandig lasvoorschriften op en zorgt voor een systematische behandeling van lasmethode- en lasserskwalificaties. Daarnaast instrueer, begeleid en adviseer je toezichthoudende en uitvoerende medewerkers op lasgebied. Het ene moment doe je een inspectie op projectlocatie in Zeews-Vlaanderen en Zeeland en het andere moment breng je verslag uit bij het management. Je bent dus zowel operationeel als procesmatig actief, echter het grootste gedeelte van je tijd breng je door in de praktijk. Kortom; een functie waar theorie en praktijk samen opgaan en waar je in aanraking komt met een grote diversiteit aan werkzaamheden. Een enorme uitdaging!

- je hebt een technische MBO niveau 4 opleiding, aanvullend met een IKT 2 / IWT opleiding

Dit ga je doen als Chef Monteur Elektrotechniek
Als Chef Monteur Elektro & Instrumentatie E&I (in dagdienst) bij Equans ben je verantwoordelijk voor het coördineren van en leidinggeven aan de dagelijkse uitvoering van projecten op de vaste klantlocatie in Hoek. Samen met het team zorg je ervoor dat dit binnen de bestekeisen, planning en werkbegroting wordt gerealiseerd. Hierbij is het belangrijk dat je op de juiste wijze zaken vastlegt en communiceert. Je voert overleg hierover met de opdrachtgever en de betrokken interne afdelingen zoals werkvoorbereiding en engineering. Dit alles vraagt om een duidelijke prioriteitstelling met een planning van activiteiten om tijd en middelen optimaal in te zetten. Gelukkig is dit je tweede natuur. Dus, zo wordt het toezicht houden op de te behalen doelen een stuk gemakkelijker.
Omdat je ervaring hebt om in een zeer dynamische omgeving te werken bent weet jij als geen ander dat verandering aan de orde van de dag is. Dit helpt je om rust te brengen voor jezelf en je omgeving. Je kunt situaties goed inschatten waardoor je anderen gerust kunt stellen, potentiële conflicten helpt voorkomen en de harmonie helpt bevorderen. In je functie ben je werkzaam binnen regio zuid west en daar zijn twee kantoren: Halsteren en Hoek. Jij gaat werkzaam zijn vanuit locatie Hoek. Het grootste deel van jouw tijd ben jij samen met je collega’s op de site van de klant in Hoek aanwezig. Op de site zijn er strakke richtlijnen en werkprocessen en om die reden heb je nauwelijks te maken met overwerk. Omdat je op één locatie werkt heb je, in tegenstelling tot andere gelijkwaardige functies, beperkte reistijd, geen files en geen parkeerproblemen.

Engineer Hardware
De komende vijf jaar, en misschien zelfs tien jaar, werken wij bij Equans aan de onderhoud van vijf bekende Nederlandse tunnels. Te noemen: Leidsche Rijntunnel, Schipholtunnel, Velsertunnel, Wijkertunnel en Zeeburgertunnel. En daarvoor zoeken wij onder andere een engineer hardware. Je komt te werken in een vast team en een vast project voor langere tijd. Heb jij enig idee hoeveel technische installaties er in een tunnel zitten?
Equans is betrokken van voorontwerp tot aan de realisatie. Wij voeren activiteiten uit ten behoeve van het upgraden van verschillende systemen in meerdere tunnels. Denk aan systemen als CCTV, audio, noodstroomvoorzieningen, tunnelventilatie, etc. Deze systemen zijn inmiddels verouderd en dienen vernieuwd te worden. Alles dient zoveel mogelijk te voldoen aan de laatste normen en richtlijnen, maar moet ook worden ingepast in de bestaande systemen. Om dat passend te maken, werken we het concept uit, samen met de opdrachtgever Rijkswaterstaat in één team. Equans vertaalt met zijn leveranciers de conceptuele vraag naar een technisch uitvoerbaar ontwerp en voert deze vervolgens uit.
Dit ga je doen als Engineer Hardware
Je gaat als elektrotechnisch engineer aan de slag in een 'bouwteam' waarbij opdrachtgever en opdrachtnemer nauw met elkaar samenwerken, om samen de scope van het werk te bepalen. Tijdens dit traject worden de grote lijnen uitgewerkt naar praktische oplossingen. Dit voor o.a. diverse tunnels, bruggen en sluizen uit de regio. Denk hierbij aan talloze verschillende installaties zoals CCTV, noodstroomvoorzieningen, bediening op afstand welke we samen met leveranciers ontwerpen en realiseren. Met hele team zorg je ervoor dat de klant krijgt wat hij vraagt. Bij alles wat je doet haal jij het best uit jezelf. Dus ook bij het:
- uitbrengen van adviezen en meedenken in de offerte fase
- uitvoeren en overzien van het gehele ontwerpproces vanuit de gestelde functionele eisen tot het overzien van de detailengineering
- vaststellen van ontwerpuitgangspunten, technische specificaties en administratieve bepalingen zodat ze voor de uitvoering herkenbaar en verwerkbaar zijn
- controleren van en toezien op de ontwerpwerkzaamheden welke worden uitgevoerd door onderaannemers
- actief onze standaarden toepassen en onderhouden

De business unit Infra is een van de business units van Infra & Energie. Bij Infra & Energie maken wij infrastructuur voor mobiliteit en energie slimmer, veiliger en duurzamer. Deze infrastructuur maken wij niet alleen functioneel, wij voegen ook intelligentie toe en maken netwerken integraal toepasbaar.
