The Group Corporate Finance team of Equans is looking for:

Corporate Finance Officer (M/F)
position based in Courbevoie (92)

The Group Corporate Finance Department is comprised of 2 team members and is in charge of:

  • The implementation and optimization of the financial structure of the Group and its affiliates
  • The management of the financial risks for the Group (FX, rates and commodities)
  • Securing the liquidity of the Group (back-up bilateral facilities for the TopCo of the Group)
  • The implementation of bank guarantee facilities and surety programs
  • The organization of upstreaming of cash from affiliates through dividends and loans repayments
  • The endorsement of the Group entities to the policies related to the above mentioned topics (aligned with Bouygues’ General Principles)
  • The coordination of the bank relationship

Corporate matters

  • Update of policies and procedures and endorsement of the Group subsidiaries
  • Follow-up of the off balance sheet commitments such as parent company and bank guarantees
  • Management of the financial risks, mainly FX risk (implementation of the financial risk policy, advising on the hedging strategies and their implementation; middle office/controlling for the trading floor)
  • Management, deployment and sponsor of Group tools such as FXAll (trading platform) and Fairways Guarantees (guarantee management tool)
  • Supporting the Group liquidity with negotiation of back-up bilateral facilities with financial institutions
  • Improving the credit risk assessment (credit insurance program, credit rating data, etc.)
  • Optimizing the Group financial structure (through capital injection, loans, etc) in coordination with tax, legal, accounting and treasury teams
  • Analysis and implementation of factoring & reverse factoring solutions
  • Global improvement of managerial reports and dashboards on above mentioned subjects

Support to affiliates

  • Close collaboration via regular meetings with Corporate finance, legal and commercial teams of affiliates
  • Helping the teams in the BU in the implementation of guarantee facilities
  • He /She will be involved on providing assistance to operational companies on the management and implementation of all financing related matters (equity, shareholder loans, working capital facilities, etc…),

Expected Profile:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience
  • A passion for finance and financing matters
  • High analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
  • A university degree In Finance, Economics, or a numerate discipline
  • Corporate Finance relevant experience in a major bank or international corporation required. Experiences in Project Finance, Structured Finance or Treasury Management also considered.
  • Fluent in English and French, a third language is a plus
  • A flexible team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle negotiations with top management and external parties like banks and software providers
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
