EQUANS is looking for a Support Team Manager to join our team based in Reading on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

This position is to lead the back-office support functions in order to provide full technical, financial and contractual support to the mobile and site-based admin teams across Mobile Technical Services, ensuring efficient delivery of office systems, combined with a focus on customer service and standardised processes across all ROCs. 

Acting as Line Manager for all members of the Mobile Support Team, the Support Team Manager will ensure all members of the team discharge their duties in a proactive, effective manner supporting the contract teams to enable successful delivery of Equans contractual responsibilities 

What will you deliver?

      • Ensure effective ongoing support for all back-office processes in use by Mobile Technical Services, ensuring that the service provided to customers/users is the highest possible within the resources available.
      • Provide management support to the mobile operation and in other areas where management requirements determine this to be appropriate.
      • Manage day to day issues with any 3rd party suppliers to ensure effective support and value for money, escalating any issues when necessary.
      • Provide regular reports to the Head of Support Services on any issues relating to service Operations and SLA/KPI failures with causes and resolution identification. 
      • Participate in Contract mobilisation processes ensuring effective delivery and resolution of issues affecting back office delivery.
      • Overall responsibility for the effective administration, costing and invoicing of WIP in a timely manner ensuring contractual compliance.
      • Overall responsibility for supervision of commercial contract administration including financial uplifts, variations and terminations.
      • Overall responsibility for compliance delivery to SLA/KPI targets working with the National Customer Services Manager to encompass end to end coverage.
      • Ensure consistency of processes throughout the MS Admin Teams and ensure best practice is communicated throughout.
      • Manage overall administration and changes for the Quotation Management System, support local Admins with issues and managing user issues and system outages.
      • Development of new processes for use with the integration of new systems or changes delivered by the wider business.
      • Provision of advice and guidance to Contract Admin Team Leaders and the wider teams where necessary.
      • Manage front line HR issues with liaison from HRBP and support from the Head of Support Services.
      • Work with the FBP and their team to address any financial issues which require an operational viewpoint or assistance to resolution.
      • Act as first line CSR Champ driving CSR across Mobile as a whole.
      • Any other duties commensurate with the role, as required.

Who are we looking for?

      • Experience of local systems SAP, Coupa, Plan-on, MiVision is desirable.
      • Knowledge of current Mobile Technical Services back-office process or equivalent process within Equans.
      • Wider knowledge of administrative processes generally across the Equans business and interrelation to the Mobile Technical Services teams advantageous.
      • IT literacy preferable to ensure adaptation and effective communication of new bespoke or systems changes.
      • Skilled communicator with the ability to relate to all levels of staff essential.
