Equans is looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Leader with an Electrical Mechanical bias to join our team in Central London. This 2 year fixed term contract is a full time role involves a complex shift pattern including days and nights operating across two sites within one of the city’s key business hubs.

What will you deliver?

  • Lead and manage shift engineers to complete PPM, reactive work, and compliance tasks
  • Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure SLA adherence
  • Mentor junior staff and manage shift handovers
  • Ensure completion of statutory maintenance and manage permits, risk assessments, and compliance documentation
  • Act as client liaison to minimize disruption and support mobilisation of the new 2AS building
  • Supervise contractors and provide technical support during faults and emergencies
  • Maintain safety and compliance with Equans and client protocols
  • Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical building systems

Who are you?

  • Time served building services engineer with electrical bias and qualifications such as C&G BS 7671 and HVAP; mechanical qualifications a plus
  • Skilled in mechanical systems, fire safety, water treatment, and Legionella control
  • Experienced in managing permits, risk assessments, and CAFM systems (Planon advantageous)
  • IOSH Managing Safely certified or equivalent health and safety knowledge
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, able to work well under pressure
  • Flexible and reliable, willing to work complex shifts including nights and weekends
  • Right to work legally in the UK
