Account Director

Equans is looking for an Account Director to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

The Account Director will be responsible for ensuring the strategic delivery of contracted services on the Tameside and Salford Hospitals contract. They will have budgetary responsibility and be responsible for the leadership of the operational team.

The role is pivotal to maintaining customer confidence, protecting Equans contractual position whilst ensuring operational resilience and compliance at all times.

What will you deliver?

• Lead, direct and motivate the contract teams to enable contribution to the best of their ability and maximise their potential.
• Responsible for the management of the service delivery which meets/exceeds the needs of internal and external customers
• Ensure maintenance is carried out in line with agreed service levels.
• Ensure effective working relationships are enhanced with key stakeholders by regularly exceeding the standard of work delivered and coordinating all Hard services activities across the sites.
• Fully support the business in all aspects of contract delivery and future growth and in preparing and delivering budgets.
• Deliver the business strategy in the service area for Equans and achieve service objectives and profit while maintaining a high level of Customer satisfaction.
• Represent Equans professionally in all Operational matters through sound decision making.
• Grow the business reputation and longer-term business opportunities through effective client relationship management and customer service excellence.
• Celebrate success and drive continuous improvement with the teams.
• Develop staff and ensure all have been provided with the mandatory and best practice training required to enable them to have the capability to carry out their roles
• Provide professional advice and support to the contract teams.
• Ensure that the services required under the PFI contracts are maintained to a high standard and in full compliance with all statutory, mandatory, and contractual requirements.
• Ensure that the contract is delivered where possible to avoid the application of Service Failure Points and financial deductions
• Ensure that business P&L and other financial targets are achieved
• Lead and manage the response to the centre of best practice settlement

Who are we looking for?

• Proven experience of Hard & Soft FM Leadership role at Account or Regional Director level.
• Professional qualification desirable. 
• Previous experience of PFI & Healthcare sector contracts.
• Strong Commercial Awareness with experience of performance related contracts and management systems
• An understanding of Health and Safety Legislation (SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH).
• Confident communicator with excellent customer interaction skills.
