EQUANS is looking for a Regional Managing Director to join our team in Hatfield on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus, and benefits package. 

Be a part of the Places & Communities Division’s Executive Team and drive accountability for the P&C South region, overseeing various product streams including housing (new build and refurbishment), education and public buildings, placemaking and public realm development, services (asset management/repairs and maintenance), and zero carbon/sustainability. Your role involves ensuring a safe work environment, fostering strong regional teams, securing business activities, enhancing performance metrics, engaging stakeholders, and delivering high-quality services while aligning with budgetary goals.

 

What will you deliver? 

Leadership, business stability and growth

  • Drive the development and management of the regional business plan and budget.
  • Lead the P&C regional SLT to deliver future profitable growth.
  • Be a positive and inspirational leadership to integrate activity across the region.

Financial and commercial management

  • Delivery of the in-year and medium-term plan(s)
  • Ensure robust finance and commercial management
  • Ensure strong and transparent working relationships with finance support functions.
  • Implement commercial rigour in securing new activity and driving improved outturn positions.

Safety/Customers/People

  • Drive the regional SHEQ strategy and align with group themes.
  • Support and develop people talent to maximize potential.
  • Develop and maintain customer-first delivery culture.
