Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of pharmaceutical facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry, with extensive knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) processes and an engineering background. Experience in integrated facilities management (IFM) would be highly beneficial. This role requires a strategic approach to managing client relationships, optimizing facility operations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Description

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management:

  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring that all operations meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, facility managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular reviews of facility performance and implement strategies to meet operational, financial, and compliance objectives.

GMP Compliance:

  • Ensure all facilities adhere to GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with facility teams to implement and maintain GMP processes and protocols.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance and address any gaps or areas for improvement.

Engineering and Operational Excellence:

  • Leverage engineering expertise to optimize facility operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with facility teams to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational enhancements.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide regular updates and performance reports to clients, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

Financial Management:

  • Manage budgets for assigned facilities, ensuring cost-effective operations and financial performance.
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings within the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Is authorized to work in the US; 
  • Is qualified to pass a security screening and medical examination;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field;
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry, with a focus on facilities management;
  • Strong knowledge of GMP processes and regulatory requirements;
  • Proven track record in account management or client relationship management;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with integrated facilities management (IFM).
  • Certification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or GMP is an advantage.
