Streetlight Inspector (Temporary) – Washington

Equans is looking for temporary streetlight inspectors in Washington DC!

Status: Temporary, Full Time

Period: For 4 to 6 months

Summary 

As a Street Light Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the condition of street lighting throughout the area. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all street lights are in a good condition, base on specific specs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of street lights, using a mobile application to verify if they are compliant with safety standards.
• Identify and report any deficiency or maintenance needs to the appropriate team.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance project manager to report the repairs and replacements as needed.

Requirements

• Is authorized to work in the US; 
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in electrical systems is a plus.
• Previous experience in inspection, maintenance, or repair of electrical systems or street lighting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
