Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence and customer satisfaction?  Equans NZ Limited are seeking a Fire Division Manager to join our team in Wellington. In this pivotal role, you will plan, direct, and control the operational activities of the Wellington Fire team to achieve our business goals and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Lead day-to-day operations of the Fire Division, ensuring adherence to safety, compliance, and industry standards. Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and execution to achieve operational efficiency in service and project delivery.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage the division’s annual budget, ensuring cost control and profitability. Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets with future focused growth.
• Pricing and Estimating: Develop accurate and competitive project estimates, including labour, materials, and equipment costs. Collaborate with the wider team to create proposals that align with client needs while maintaining profitability. Analyse market trends and competitor pricing to optimise the division’s pricing strategy.
• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain and improve customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
• Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, and mentor team members to build technical expertise and ensure high performance. Foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement within the team.

About you:

• Minimum of 8-10 years proven experience in the fire services industry
• Solid understanding of the relevant codes and industry standards
• Commercial and financial acumen
• Current clean full New Zealand driver licence
• Skilled at identifying sales opportunities
• Proven ability to build relationships and drive service value (EBIT) over sale
• Integrity and high personal and professional standards
