EQUANS is looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team based in Wath upon Dearne on a temporary (6 months) basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £12.60 per hour and benefits package. 

 

You will be working as part of a busy team, in a Procure to Pay environment.  The role involves the processing of invoices, supplier account reconciliation, helping resolve any known disputes, on a timely basis.

Shared Services have agreed Service Level Agreements with key stakeholders. Performance Indicators, assigned to all Team Members, contribute to the Procure to Pay Team meeting these objectives. You will ensure that we play our part in suppliers being paid to agreed terms.  

What will you deliver? 

  • Point of contact for procure to pay queries.
  • Invoice processing.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Internal/external supplier queries.
  • Schedule and process payments.
  • Reconciliations and period end close activities.

Who are we looking for? 

 

  • Previous experience of working in an Accounts Payable environment is desired. 
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Able to organise and prioritise own workload.
  • Experience of digital systems.
  • Demonstrate accuracy/attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Use of Microsoft packages especially Excel.
