Job Title: Resident A/C Engineer – FGas (VRV/VRF & Chillers)
Location: Alderley Park, Macclesfield (1 site with 40 buildings)
Salary: £41,000 – £43,500 per annum + shift allowance (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Mon – Fri (3-weekly shift rotation: early, mid & late between 6am and 10pm)

We are seeking an efficient and hardworking Residential Air Conditioning Engineer to join our dynamic team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance with FGas regulations across the Alderley Park site, which covers 40 buildings, while implementing improvements and providing proactive solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform statutory compliance testing of A/C units under FGas Regulations

Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on VRV/VRF systems and Chillers
-
Identify and implement proactive improvements to A/C systems

Carry out small repairs to VRV/VRF systems

Respond to reactive repair requests
-
Perform plantroom cleaning and inspections

Join an out-of-hours callout rota
-
Supervise and escort contractors as required

Ensure compliance with ACRIB, HVAC, COSHH, and FGas regulations
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:
-
City & Guilds 6187-21 231/531 Level 2 Award in Brazing Techniques for Refrigeration
-
City & Guilds 2079 FGas qualification
-
City & Guilds 6187-21 232/532 Level 2 Award in Hydrocarbon Refrigeration
-
COSHH training
Experience:
-
Previous experience working with Chillers, VRV, and VRF systems
-
Familiarity with using computers, tablets, phones, and CAFM systems

Practical experience in the maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems
