M & E Supervisor

Location: North Middlesex University Hospital
Salary: Up to £51,200 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm (plus on-call rota)

Role Summary

Join Equans as an M & E Supervisor overseeing Water Management systems and the internal fabric team at North Middlesex University Hospital. You will supervise contractor work, manage planned maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while delivering efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate PPM activities and reactive works
• Supervise trade staff, contractors, and subcontractors to meet deadlines and standards
• Maintain accurate records and manage materials and stock
• Provide technical support, training, and lead Health & Safety compliance
• Participate in emergency on-call rota and occasional overtime

Candidate Profile

• Relevant NVQ/BTEC qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Proven supervisory experience in facilities or building services
• Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills (Word, Excel, Project)
• Knowledge of health & safety and risk assessments
• Ability to lead teams and liaise with stakeholders confidently
