Junior PLC Engineer

As a PLC Engineer, you contribute to automation projects from analysis through to delivery, working closely with colleagues within Process Solutions. You gradually deepen your expertise in industrial automation and see how your work is applied in real customer environments.

Your work location: at our customers’ sites.
Your Equans base: Equans site in Roeselare.

Zoom on the job:

• analyse existing installations and develop functional analyses in consultation with the project team
• take care of detailed technical design and software development within ongoing projects
• test software and commission systems according to the agreed planning
• take part in the stand-by rota and contribute to stable and reliable operations
• ensure clear and complete project documentation
• contribute to the further structuring and standardisation of processes
• support and advise customers after project delivery

Come as you are, ideally with:

• a higher technical degree at bachelor or master level
• knowledge of electromechanics and an interest in industrial automation
• experience with Siemens PLCs
• good knowledge of HMI, such as SCADA, Siemens WinCC and TIA Portal
• a structured and accurate way of working, both independently and in coordination with others
• clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset within a project environment
• driving licence B
