Equans is looking for a Health & Safety Trainer to join our team based in Didsbury (Hybrid) on a temporary basis (Secondment). This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle, bonus and benefits package.

Reporting to a UKBU Senior Trainer this role will be accountable for developing and delivering mandatory training content

What will you deliver?

  • Develop and deliver high quality training modules in specialist area and providing expert guidance to peers.
  • Ensure that all courses are kept up to date with the latest Government Legislation and internal practices.
  • Deal with first stage feedback and complaints.
  • Ensure all training records, registers and evaluations are fully completed and sent to the relevant training coordination teams.
  • Carry out peer observations.
  • Carry out lead IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) visits if applicable.
  • Assist the UKBU Senior Trainers in creating new processes and procedures.
  • Lead on any specialist areas or designated projects.
  • Any other reasonable management request.

Who are you?

  • Previously worked or currently working within the industry or has transferable exposure.
  • Previous experience as a trainer/ developer.
  • Experience in delivering accredited training.
  • Level 3 QCF in Education and Training or equivalent training qualification.
  • Level 3 Assessors Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • NEBOSH General and/ or NEBOSH Construction/ Fire qualifications.
  • Other industry relevant qualifications.
  • Approved tutor for awarding bodies including: IOSH, UKATA, SSP (CITB), MAYBO, QNUK (QCF bodies), IEMA, NEBOSH, CPCS, PASMA, IPAF, ILM, CMI, TETRA, EUSR etc.
  • Member of relevant institutes: IOSH, IEMA, CIPD, FPA, BSIA, IPSA etc.
  • Computer literate, experienced office 365 user.
  • UK Driving License.

This role includes a Basic DBS check therefore ability to pass is essential.
