Equans is looking for a Site Escort to join our team in Westminster, London on a Zero Hour Contract , This is a Casual Zero Hour Contract working as and when needed. On offer is a salary of £13.45 per hour and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
We are seeking a reliable and professional Site Escort to join our Sustainable FM team. This is a vital role responsible for ensuring the safe and secure movement of contractors and visitors within a controlled environment. You will play a key part in maintaining strict security compliance while delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Escort and supervise contractors, surveyors, and authorised visitors within secure buildings, ensuring full adherence to site security procedures (typically a 1:5 escort ratio)
- Maintain constant visual supervision, ensuring visitors remain within approved areas at all times
- Identify and respond promptly to any security risks, unusual behaviour, or deviations from agreed work plans
- Support site inductions, ensuring visitors fully understand safety and security requirements before commencing work
- Ensure all escorted individuals display valid passes at all times
- Maintain effective radio communication throughout your shift
- Report faults, defects, or incidents via the 2MS FM Helpdesk and AIMS portal
- Assist during emergency situations, including fire evacuations, ensuring safe exit of visitors and proper management of passes
- Comply fully with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and management plans
- Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures
- Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role as required
