Site Manager

An exciting opportunity has opened within Equans Victoria for a motivated and experienced Electrical Site Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments across the commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors, and who takes pride in delivering high‑quality electrical outcomes.

Role Overview
You will oversee electrical works across major commercial, government and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance, safety, quality and efficient delivery. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise and the ability to manage multiple work faces simultaneously.

A minimum of 5+ years commercial/industrial electrical experience is preferred. This is an EBA role, with pay rates aligned to the latest ETU EBA.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Compliance — Ensure all employees and contractors follow electrical policies and procedures.
• Regulatory Standards — Maintain compliance with relevant regulations, codes and standards.
• Construction Oversight — Oversee daily construction activities and ensure effective work processes.
• Team Supervision — 3–5 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Process Improvement — Initiate and support procedural improvements and modifications.
• Site Safety Management — Manage safety for all personnel, including contractors, while meeting project deadlines.
• Project Coordination — Work closely with the company project manager.
• Daily Work Planning — Plan and manage crew tasks; ability to run multiple work faces is essential.
• Stakeholder Liaison — Communicate with client managers, staff, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ownership & Accountability — Take ownership of your work and maintain high standards.
• Computer Literacy — Must be confident using digital tools and systems.
