Job description
Our Australian team consists of approximately 50 highly skilled engineers, and it is expanding rapidly due to the growth of large-scale PV projects. As we enter into new opportunities involving substations and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), our central engineering team overseas will provide support to ensure smooth integration and implementation.

Position Overview:  
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design review and development, and delivery of electrical systems across projects. This role ensures that all electrical activities meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards, while supporting project teams throughout the full lifecycle—from development to commissioning.
With more than 5 years of relevant experience, the role requires autonomy on site, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
 Electrical Design & Engineering
•    Review the design and specification of electrical systems (MV/HV/LV)
•    Review single-line diagrams, layouts
•    Review and validate engineering deliverables and technical documentation

Project Delivery
•    Provide technical support across all project phases (development, detailed design, construction, commissioning)
•    Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and timelines
•    Lead site activities, including installation, testing, and commissioning
•    Manage a team of 2 young engineer to deliver the entire electrical scope of the solar farm

Supplier & Contractor Management
•    Review and assess supplier and contractor technical proposals
•    Select and manage subcontractors and suppliers associated to the electrical scope
•    Support procurement activities and technical evaluations
•    Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality of deliverables

Risk & Quality Management
•    Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies
•    Ensure adherence to safety standards and best engineering practices
•    Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned

Qualifications :
•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
•    5+ years of experience in construction, electrical engineering, preferably in renewable energy, power systems, or infrastructure 
•    Experience in utility-scale projects (solar, BESS, substations, or similar) 
•    EPC experience is highly desirable
•    knowledge of MV/HV systems and electrical design principles
