Equans is looking for an Assistant PMO Manager to join the team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The Assistant PMO Manager plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects and programmes by providing governance, reporting, project controls, data management, and continuous improvement support across the portfolio. The role ensures project information is accurate, timely, and visible to stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and effective project delivery.

Working closely with Project Managers, Operational Teams, Finance, Commercial, and Client stakeholders, the Assistant PMO Manager helps drive consistency, compliance, and best practice across the project lifecycle while supporting the development and implementation of PMO standards, processes, systems, and reporting solutions. 

What will you deliver?

  • Produce weekly and monthly project performance reports
  • Monitor project milestones, deliverables and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Support the collection, analysis and presentation of project data
  • Develop dashboards and performance reports using Microsoft Power Platform tools
  • Provide accurate management information to support business decisions
  • Support the administration and continuous enhancement of PMO systems and tools
  • Assist in the development of Power Apps, Power BI dashboards and Power Automate workflows
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality and reporting accuracy
  • Promote standardisation and knowledge sharing across project teams
  • Develop effective working relationships with Project Managers, Operational Teams, SHEQ, Commercial Teams, Finance and Clients
  • Support communication activities and project updates across the business
  • Act as a trusted source of project information and performance reporting
  • Contribute to client presentations, reviews and performance meetings

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience within FM, Construction, Infrastructure or Public Sector environments
  • Experience of working in a Data focused environment
  • Strong understanding of project principles and project lifecycles
  • Strong understanding of the importance of controlled and structured communication
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Experience producing management reports, newsletters and analysing data
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
