Shift Electrician

Equans is looking for a Shift Electrician to join our team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and in addition you will receive an excellent shift allowance & benefits package. 

What will you deliver?

  • Working directly to the Electrical Supervisor, the post holder will have the required skills to ensure the safe and continuous operation of mechanical, electrical engineering services and building plant as part of a flexible maintenance team, including specialist subcontractors to deliver work to the highest of standards for our clients.
  • The main responsibilities include efficiently and effectively performing electrical maintenance of all relevant assets. Work will be assigned from a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule or in response to a reactive work order raised by our client representatives or our own personnel on site. All planned and reactive tasks will be managed through to completion, including fault diagnosis and sourcing parts where applicable. Must be able to demonstrate that awareness of best working practices and that these are always followed. Additional duties to include, working and managing backlog works, assisting when required for specialist projects.
  • Working as part of a wider M&E team, there may be a requirement to undertake other tasks that may not be specifically related to electrical systems.

Who are we looking for?

  • Must have successfully completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship and have a proven experience in a similar role carrying out electrical maintenance duties.
  • Hospital maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Be competent to undertake/assist work on the type of building service systems and equipment for which the appointment is sought.
  • Be familiar with the type of systems and equipment on which work is required to be undertaken.
  • Possess technical knowledge and sufficient experience to avoid any danger that may be presented by the work to be undertaken.
  • Have an adequate knowledge of and within the preceding three years have received training in first aid (including CPR Training). If not held, training will be given.
  • Desirable but not essential to have some knowledge of all the relevant Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM) and to work within Permit to Work procedures as appropriate SHTM 06 - 01, BSRIA, L8, pressure systems Regulations 2000, etc).
  • Must be able to obtain a Disclosure Scotland at a Basic Level

Maintenance Operative

Equans is a renowned energies & services contractor and a proud member of the Bouygues global industrial group. Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shift Maintenance Operative to join our team providing maintenance at University Hospital Lewisham in Ladywell, South East London.  This is a full-time permanent shift based position working 42 hrs p/week on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern from 07:00 to 19:00, days only.

 

Key Activities:

  • Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • To undertake scheduled, planned and reactive maintenance tasks proactively or as directed by the supervisor.
  • Maintain buildings in appropriate condition and report to Hard Services management
  • Work alone with minimum supervision or within a team to carry required duties as instructed
  • Respond to requests generated from the helpdesk and administered by Hard FM Management that are within operator’s capabilities within scheduled periods and accurately complete work order forms before returning as required
  • Use Maximo and mobile device for the management of work on a daily basis and complete work within relevant timeframes to ensure that no penalties are incurred
  • Immediately report any potentially dangerous situations for rectification
  • Working an average of 42 hours per week, 4 on, 4 off shifts, from 07:00 to 19:00 with a one hour paid lunch break; this position will also be required to participate in the on-call rota

The Group Applications Shared Service Line (called SLS Group Apps) is part of EQUANS Group IT and provides common IT solutions and services required to support EQUANS’ businesses through 3 main missions :

  • Delivering IT projects and services in their scope in accordance with the schedule, quality and cost targets agreed with Business customers
  • Operating the global applications and solutions that support EQUANS’ Businesses in the most competitive way

Infrastructure Project Manager (ANY LOCATION) (M/F)

General context and objectives of the role

Equans' Group IT Department is organized around Shared Line of Service that deliver global services to all the group's entities.

The Infrastructure Shared Line of Service (called SLS Infrastructure) of the Equans Group IT Department provides services relating to the public cloud (AWS and Azure) and network (interconnection network for the entities, secure connection of third parties to the Equans network, and global network services such as DNS, IPAM or remote connection for mobile or remote working employees).

Within SLS Infrastructure, the Project Manager is responsible for managing SLS projects. These may be either projects within the scope of SLS services (Cloud and Network) or projects involving other SLSs, such as application projects with a Cloud and/or Network component. In the latter case, the Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing work within the scope of the SLS Infrastructure and coordinating with the SLS Project Manager leading the project and, where appropriate, with other players in other SLSs.

The Project Manager is responsible for

  • Initiating the project (preparation and planning, mobilizing contributors, setting up governance)
  • Managing the implementation of the project (deadlines, costs, quality)

The SLS Digital Workplace (DWP) encompasses the functions of tooling, identity and access management, workplace architecture, workplace services, Microsoft 365, and user adoption.

We are looking for an IT project management officer to join our SLS Digital Workplace team.

Main responsibilities:

  • You provide oversight on Equans IT projects by maintaining best practices and documenting project status and strategy in one place;
  • You provide Project Management Office support to the IT Program Director and the IT Program Managers, including scope and budget retrievals;
  • You support project team members with documentation tracking, and quality review;
  • You follow-up project execution and consolidate reporting: documentation review, testing, delivery, etc.;
  • You gather data about project progress and producing reports. You get things done. When you need information or help, you seek it out and find it easily within Equans IT;
  • You communicate clearly and precisely. As an important part of the team, you work in harmony with others to achieve goals;
  • You are the Project portal administrator – maintain the project’s SharePoint site and ensure folders are structured well, documents are regularly updated and organized effectively and version control is correctly applied;

Projectleider Onderhoud E+W - WTC Amsterdam

Voor het World Trade Center in Amsterdam doet Equans al jarenlang het E &W onderhoud van het grootste gedeelte van alle torens, bij elkaar goed voor zo’n 200.000 m2. In het complex zitten zo’n 200 huurders. Recent is er een nieuwe overeenkomst voor vijf jaar afgesloten, en in 2025 wordt er een nieuwe toren toegevoegd aan het contract en zal er gewerkt worden volgens een nieuw Plan van Eisen – met de nadruk op data gedreven duurzaam beheer en onderhoud.

Dit ga je doen als Projectleider onderhoud

Als Projectleider onderhoud ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor jouw klant, specifiek in dit geval is dat WTC Amsterdam. 

Je geeft sturing aan een team dat bestaat twee service coördinatoren en een aantal senior technici die samen verantwoordelijk zijn voor de operationele uitvoering. Vous serez amené(e) à travailler en autonomie avec le soutien logistique et administratif de l'antenne de Nantes. Sous la responsabilité du Responsable d’Affaires Adjoint, vos missions seront de :

 Prendre en charge la responsabilité des contrats de maintenance préventive et corrective des installations de chauffage, traitement d’air et climatisation

 Maintenir et développer la relation client en apportant votre conseil en tant qu'interlocuteur(trice) privilégié(e)

 Être garant du respect des planning de maintenance

 Renseigner l'outil de GMAO

 Participer, en tant que référent technique dans l’équipe, à la prise en charge d’équipements dans le cadre de nouveaux contrats et à l’amélioration des procédures

 Participer au chiffrage (relevés, demande de prix)

 Appliquer et améliorer les dispositifs et principes de sécurité

 Participer au service d'astreinte
