Equans is looking for a Head Chef to join our team in Royal Infirmary Hospital,  Edinburgh, EH164SA  on a permanent basis working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £34,125.00 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday 8 hours per day between 6am and 7pm with a 30 minute unpaid break

Shifts available to cover are below

6:15am-2:15pm

9:45am-5:45pm

11am-7:00pm 

What will you deliver?

• Ensuring that kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
• Cooking Breakfast & Lunch and supporting any Hospitality required 
• Staying up to date with culinary trends and kitchen processes
• Dealing with suppliers and ensuring that they supply quality goods at affordable prices.
• Supporting the chef manager with ordering stock as needed
• Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen equipment and organising repairs when needed
• Supporting the development new dishes/Menus and overhauling menus to attract more customers.

Multi Site Caretaker

Equans is recruiting for a Multi Site Caretaker to be based out of Vinewood house, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 4DB, Mainly covering two sites within Tamworth. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is salary of £26,436.80 per annum and benefits package.

Shift times:

Monday - Friday 07:30 - 16:00 with 30 minutes un-paid break.
On-Call to cover Out of Hours Emergency Call Outs including weekends and bank holidays (current frequency 1 in 7 but subject to change).

What you will deliver:

The main duties and responsibilities are:
• Be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and COSHH laws or regulations to make certain that all company Health and Safety policies, procedures are adhered to.
• Carry out first line investigations into building faults and isolate / make safe where necessary and arrange referral to engineer or specialist contractor through the Helpdesk.
• Carry out minor maintenance works and planned maintenance tasks.
• Rolling on-call rota, attending emergency events out of hours, covering all 10 x Fire Stations and 89 Stoke Schools sites
• Completion of audits, ensuring all on site documentation is current and complete
• Snow clearance and gritting in the winter months, providing support to other Fire Stations where required. 
• To provide ‘Meet & Greet’ service external Community Groups who utilize the Community Facilities within the Fire Station, to always ensure their safety. This will include the set up and tidy away of any required furniture. 
• Reporting building misuse or damage to the Mobile Operations Supervisor in a timely manner
• Be used to working under pressure, problem solve and to use their initiative when necessary 
• Observe the site rules and maintain a smart appearance 
• Be prepared to perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the Mobile Operations Supervisor or Account Manager.
• Understand the operation of the building to maintain a positive on-site relationship with customers and be aware of any potential or existing customer dissatisfaction or circumstance and ensure that management are suitably informed in a timely manner.
• Provide cover for holidays, sickness and emergencies when required at all 10 x Fire Stations.

For this role you must undergo a DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

Maintenance Electrician

Equans is a renowned energies & services contractor and a proud member of the Bouygues global industrial group. Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team working at two University of Cambridge research and teaching facilities in Cambridge city centre working 40 hours per week from 07:30 to 16:00. Monday to Friday.  This is a foot mobile role across the two buildings on the site. 

Key activities:

  • Reporting to the M&E Supervisor
  • To provide the safe operation, planned and reactive maintenance of electrical services plant and equipment
  • To carry out the installation of new electrical equipment as required i.e. minor new works, refurbishment and capital works replacement programme
  • Investigate, trouble shoot and rectify defects for all electrical systems and associated plant/components or if unable to do so, arrange specialist external staff or subcontractors
  • Experienced in all types of design and installation techniques with the ability to appraise problems and the capability to rectify them.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate completion of all associated paperwork
  • To participate in the Appointed Persons role for an identified discipline
  • Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 07:30 to 16:00 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

Skills, qualifications & experience:

  • Must hold a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical discipline with suitable industry experience
  • Competent Person L8 experience
  • Asbestos Awareness

FP&A Analyst

Equans is looking for a FP&A Analyst to join our team at Bevis Marks on a temporary basis (8 months). This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package 

 

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the primary responsibilities within the UK-BU include providing high-quality financial management information for the UK-BU, which has a turnover of approximately €3.5bn; ensuring that no major errors or omissions are reported to the Group in the data provided by the assets; and liaising with various departments and senior stakeholders within the business to obtain sound and accurate performance commentary.

What will you deliver?

 

  • Pro-actively analysing financial performance of UK-BU (P&L, BS and Cash Flow) and providing senior management, including the CFO with relevant analysis for decision making.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly management reports for the UK-BU, providing management with visibility on budget achievement (including cash flow, overheads and detailed variance review for the business units).
  • Help drive efficient planning and forecasting activities, including preliminary view  estimates, budget and MTP.
  • Manage information requirements from Group to UK BU businesses and complete group reporting requirements in MDT.
  • Design and run SAP BPC and MDT Reports for the UK-BU to aid performance reporting and management.
  • Support UK-BU on management reporting issues.
  • Assist with management reporting systems database management, maintenance and systems administration.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests from CFO, Deputy CFO, FDs & Group FP&A.
  • Monthly Reporting – ensure quality monthly management reporting information is received from UK-BU businesses on a timely basis.
  • Facilitate decision making - by providing periodic and ad hoc analysis that transform financial data into actionable information for operational and strategic decision making.
  • UK-BU Board Report, MBR, QBR and budget – assist with the production of the monthly and quarterly reports to provide management with regular regional information, working closely with the FP&A team, SSC, Head of FP&A and Divisional Finance Directors.
  • Capex Management – management of the quarterly Capex budget reporting and analysis to UK Directors and Group.
  • Annual budget – assist with the management of the budget process for the UK-BU.  Co-ordinate & review preparation of financial plans, budgets and forecasts to ensure that targets are properly documented and goals are in accordance with the Group's objectives and effective business review processes are in place.
  • SG&A Analysis & Reporting – analyse and report on monthly/quarterly SG&A variance analysis for the current year as well as year on year, is completed in a succinct and timely manner and reported to the CFO/Group.
  • UK Management Reporting - ensuring consistency and reliability of reporting and that reporting structures reflect the changing way our business is managed.

Senior Site Manager

Equans is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee day‑to‑day delivery on live, occupied social housing projects—primarily refurbishment, retrofit, cladding and decarbonisation schemes—across Harrow, Hertford and Enfield. You’ll join a dynamic team, reporting to the Project/Contracts Manager, and be responsible for driving quality, safety and programme compliance while nurturing client and resident relationships.


What will you deliver?

  • Lead the planning and implementation of refurbishment and retrofit works, ensuring projects finish on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards 

  • Manage project schedules, monitor progress, report delays, and proactively resolve issues to keep milestones on track 

  • Supervise and mentor site teams of up to 20 (Assistant Site Managers, Operatives, Subcontractors, RLOs), fostering a culture of continuous improvement 

  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, quality and SHEQ procedures through regular inspections, audits and toolbox talksAct as the primary point of contact for clients, residents and internal stakeholders—managing expectations, responding to feedback and maintaining strong professional relationships

General Overview: 

The Multiskilled Joiner is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of joinery components within residential and commercial properties managed by the company. This role combines expertise in joinery with skills in related trades such as minor plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance tasks to ensure properties are structurally sound, aesthetically pleasing, and functional.

What will you deliver?

  •  Measure, cut, and assemble wood, composite, or metal components to construct or repair doors, windows, cabinets, and other joinery items.
  • Install and fit joinery components including locks, handles, hinges, and fittings.
  •  Repair or replace damaged joinery components such as skirting boards, staircases, and kitchen units.
  •  Assist with minor plumbing tasks such as repairing leaks, replacing taps, and fixing plumbing fixtures.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete assigned work orders within specified timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  •  Any other reasonable management request.

Building Services Engineer

Equans is looking for an Building Services Engineer to join our team in Halifax on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and motivated Plumber/Mechanical biased Engineer for maintenance work across Calderdale Royal Hospital to join a team of onsite engineers who will integrate into the technical team.

The engineer will be responsible for the technical performance and maintenance of standards within the hospitals. They will provide guidance to others on site, showing technical expertise in mechanical (Plumbing or Ventilation) and Water systems

What will you deliver?

  • Plant Inspections and Repairs: Oversee the routine inspection, servicing, and repair of plant to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations, hospital policies, and PFI contract requirements.
  • Contractual Deliverables: Ensure that maintenance work is conducted according to the terms of the PFI contract, including response times and performance standards.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Work with EQUANS site team to provide accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for audit and compliance purposes.

As a group we have defined a number of Shared Line of Services (SLS) which deliver services globally across all business units.
The Shared Line of Service (SLS) Digital Workplace (DWP) encompasses the functions of tooling, workplace architecture, workplace services, Microsoft 365, and user adoption.

As our Service Delivery Manager, you will:

The Corporate Information Technology organization is in charge of defining the IT vision & strategy for EQUANS. Reporting to the Group Apps Service Line, you will assist the different Business domain lead and CIO’s in the implementation of Business strategy and IT by also taking into consideration group strategy and technology evolution. You will participate in the vision and performance of the Corporate application and IT architectures. You will ensure end to end integration of a part of application portfolio for the HR domains

In this context, your main activities will include:

  • Participate in the implementation of the HRIS redesign initiatives by working on the architecture, strategy and design of the solution and the use of new technologies
  • As a Business Analyst, take the lead on the implementation of the EC module within Equans
  • Define how the different components of the application should interact, support the processes of the solution in this area
  • Liaise with the support teams, integration teams and Delivery teams in the day-to-day operations to support the evolution and the module
  • Building the link between EQUANS' business and corporate IT
