GENERAL OVERVIEW
Equans has established a global ERP Shared Line of Service (SLS), structured around two key platforms—SAP and Microsoft Dynamics. Its mission is to drive value from ERP systems by adopting new technologies, promoting best practices, and aligning with business goals.
SLS acts as a strategic partner to the business, offering leadership, governance, and a unified ERP roadmap. It fosters a global ERP community, sets security and operational standards, and ensures consistent programme and project oversight.
The service aims to boost productivity by sharing expertise, reducing duplication, and identifying opportunities for convergence and transformation.
It supports around 32,000 ERP users worldwide offering a wide arrange of functional and technical services.
Summary of the role
In your role, reporting to the Functional Solution Architect, you will be instrumental in enhancing processes and driving business change across multiple countries and Equans entities. Acting as the key liaison between business teams and ERP technical experts, you will identify improvement opportunities, shape practical solutions, and support major ERP initiatives.
You’ll be part of a skilled ERP team that supports career growth. We’re looking for someone with practical experience, a passion for quality, and the ability to motivate others in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a flexible working environment although some periodic multiple country travel will be expected.

Key Objectives & KPIs
- Demand Management: Ensure timely and accurate handling of demand requests, collaborating with partners and SLS functions to validate requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. Example KPI: Percentage of demand requests assessed and responded to within agreed SLA.
- Requirements Validation: Capture and validate business requirements, ensuring alignment with ERP standards and best practices to minimise customisations and secure stakeholder sign-off. Example KPI: Percentage of requirements signed off without major rework.
- Workshop Execution: Facilitate workshops to confirm process alignment, document decisions, and secure timely business approval. Example KPI: Feedback score from participants on workshop clarity and effectiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demand Management: Manage demand requests and collaborate with partners, and other SLS functions to validate requirements and deliver solutions that are fit for purpose and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Requirements Gathering & Validation: Work closely with the business to capture and validate business requirements, ensuring they align with ERP standards and best practices to minimise customisations. Work closely with stakeholders to confirm requirements and secure sign-off.
- Business Process Analysis & Design: Analyse current business processes and design future-state processes that leverage ERP capabilities.
- Facilitate: Lead workshops to review processes, document decisions, and obtain business approval. Act as a subject matter expert during discussions to guide stakeholders towards best-practice solutions. Assist in ERP-related Proof of Concept exercises and supplier selection for extensions, integrations, and add-ons.
- Documentation: Produce clear and comprehensive ERP documentation, including business requirements documents, blueprints, functional specifications, process flows, and supporting materials.
- Integration & Data Management: Collaborate on integration points and data migration requirements to ensure seamless connectivity between systems. Support data validation and reconciliation activities during migration phases.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, effectively communicating design impacts, benefits, and considerations. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to SLS ERP standards and global ERP templates. Support change management activities to drive adoption and minimise disruption.
- Transformation & Integration: Support and evaluate ERP requirements when businesses undergo acquisitions, mergers, or major organisational changes.
PROFILE
Academic background & Experience
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in SAP or equivalent system.
- Demonstrated success in performing similar ERP business analyst type roles within large and complex organizations
- Experience working with system integrators and software vendors

- Excellent stakeholder management skills (multiple levels)
- Excellent and effective communicator with good inter-personal skills
- Ability to analyse problems and provide effective solutions both orally and by clear, concise, and unambiguous documentation
- Pro-active with high levels of energy, tenacity, and enthusiasm to deliver results
- Flexible and adaptable with strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Fluent business English
- French highly desirable
- Strong business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process mapping, solution documentation.
- SAP certification or formal Business Analysis accreditation
- BPM skills, such as proficiency in Signavio, are considered an advantage

Fire Door Inspector
Equans is looking for 2x Fire Door Inspectors to join our team at the Victoria Hospital in Fife. This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
This role is critical to ensuring public safety by identifying, investigating, and mitigating fire door risks across various sites. You will be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring proactive communication at all times. Your work will be planned and prioritised within safe systems, corporate policies, and health and safety legislation.
As part of a one team approach, you will collaborate with colleagues across the Scotland region to deliver excellent service and strong working relationships.
What will you deliver?
- Conduct timely and cost-effective inspections of fire doors on assigned sites.
- Use of PDA/tablet devices to follow inspection checklists and accurately report the status of fire doors.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain precise and thorough documentation of completed inspections and related work.

Who are we looking for?
- Proven experience in conducting Fire Door Inspections is essential.
- Relevant recognised qualifications such as BM TRADA, FDIS, BRE or equivalent.
- Strong ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Sound understanding of Health and Safety legislation with certifications such as SMSTS, IOSH, or NEBOSH.
- Confident communicator with strong customer service skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

- Conduct regular quality checks on CAFM (Maximo) entries to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with service standards.
- Monitor team performance, identifying trends or issues, and escalating concerns to the Team Leader where appropriate.
- Support the management and resolution of customer complaints, ensuring issues are logged, investigated and followed through to a satisfactory outcome.
- Assist with rota reviews and supporting the Team Leader in ensuring adequate staffing levels and fair allocation of shifts.
- Support continuous improvement by promoting best practice and ensuring quality standards are maintained across the Helpdesk.
- Completing administration tasks as required by the business.

- Support the team with live call logging on the internal CAFM system (MAXIMO).
- Assign and dispatching work to various resources via multiple channels.
- Issue reports to internal and external clients/customers using in-house systems.
- Provide assistance to support the team to proactively monitor and chase work orders to completion within the required SLA.
- Conduct regular quality checks on CAFM (Maximo) entries to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with service standards.
- Monitor team performance, identifying trends or issues, and escalating concerns to the Team Leader where appropriate.
- Support the management and resolution of customer complaints, ensuring issues are logged, investigated and followed through to a satisfactory outcome.
- Assist with rota reviews and supporting the Team Leader in ensuring adequate staffing levels and fair allocation of shifts.
- Support continuous improvement by promoting best practice and ensuring quality standards are maintained across the Helpdesk.
- Completing administration tasks as required by the business.

Multi skilled Electrician
Equans is looking for an Electrician to join our team in Leeds on a permanent basis.
This is a full time role to carry out repairs and maintenance work to the homes and properties repaired and maintained by the Company.

What will you deliver?
- Carry out all types of repairs and maintenance work in a multi-skilled environment allied to the Electrical trade discipline
- Completion of repairs and maintenance in other trade disciplines where deemed competent to complete these
- Attend repairs and maintenance appointments on time and complete works on the first occasion, in one visit and within target times
- As and when required, diagnose necessary remedial works, make appointments/arrangements and organise materials required
- Removal or make arrangements for the removal of waste/debris on a daily basis and upon the completion of any works
- To effectively and proactively assist in supporting the team to achieve KPI's
- To take part where appropriate in the Company’s out of hours emergency repairs and maintenance rota
- To mentor and assist trainees, apprentices and other employees as and when required
