EQUANS is looking for an Administrator to join our team based at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. 

You will be an integral member of the sites Administration and Reception team delivering all Office Services. You will support the delivery of a professional and efficient administrative support to the Office Service in line with the organisation’s goals and values. You must establish and maintain strong relationships with the operational teams and adopt and highlight a collaborative approach to resolving issues.

What will you deliver? 

  • Co-ordinate with the Department Managers, Division staff and Equans Staff, delivering effective customer service, providing administrative support and to be an integral part of the team. 
  • Assist with processing HR documentation & update systems.
  • Prepare relevant letters to support the wider team. 
  • Assist with processing of PPM’s, Reactive Tasks & Follow-ons. 
  • Work co-operatively across multiple IT systems in support of our operational teams on site.
  • Processing orders, invoices, receipting and billing & cash reconciliation to strict deadlines. 
  • Undertake reception duties which include Control of contractors via E- Permit system, distribution of visitors PPE & general reception duties.
  • Document control.
  • Using the photocopier and scanning of documentation.
  • Assist with compiling Newsletter.
  • Assist with collating weekly/monthly site reports.
  • Preparing and Issue of Site ID Cards.
  • General administration duties.

Administrator - Part Time

Technical Business Analyst – ServiceNow and Integrations (M/F - any location)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Technical Business Analyst specializing in ServiceNow and integrations to join our international team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business units (BUs) across multiple countries, ensuring smooth communication, alignment of requirements, and successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions and integrations.

Network Architect Lead (M/F - any location)

Key responsibilities :

The role reports to the SLS Infrastructure Engineering Lead who is based in France. The role will be part of the global IT team with IT colleague’s members across the globe.

Network Architect Lead for Shared Line of Service Infrastructure will lead the Architectural orientations and decisions for network & security infrastructure services for the EQUANS organisation, in alignment with the Corporate Architect and EQUANS strategy.

The role of Lead Architect is to drive Infrastructure direction for new services, improve the existing and ensure they are properly operated by partner “Business As Usual” (BAU) teams.

Architect Lead will manage the network experts responsible of products delivered by the SLS infrastructure, ensuring they can fully assume their role of product owners for their respective services under their responsibility. Experts can be localised worldwide in Equans organisation.

Contract Manager

EQUANS are recruiting for a Contract Manager to be based in Oldham. This is a permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary,Car allowance, bonus and benefits package.

General Overview

The role of the Contract Manager is to directly manage a designated workstream on the contract, as a member of the senior management team you will ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, to a high-quality standard, with exceptional customer care. Acting as a role model for your teams and instilling the Equans culture to all colleagues.

Key Accountabilities

To take ownership and manage your workstream ensuring all task are carried out to a high standard, including but not limited to:

  • Ensure that EQUANS all safety policy and procedures are followed by you and your team, ensuring all works are carried out in a safe compliant manor across all disciplines required on the contract by both the in house and supply chain.
  • Manage effectively all working at Height carried out by your team including scaffold inspection and management.
  • Record all accidents, near misses, Safety observations and HIPO’s on AIMS
  • Coach and train your team to enable them to carry out their role on the contract.
  • Manage absence in line with the policy for your work stream, update HR.net with all relevant cases.
  • Manage Employee Relations, e.g Investigations/Disciplinary’s/Grievances.
  • Ensure your teams have the correct tools, equipment, and materials to carry out their work including imprest kit management in vehicles.
  • Manage your team’s productivity, including holding meetings with supervisors, record actions and when necessary, implement performance improvement plans.
  • Carry out pre, post and in progress inspections (MSV) and record findings on AIMS.
  • Hold regular one 2 one meetings and PDR meetings with your teams.
  • Ensure your team carry out all mandatory training and support any ongoing training for team members including apprentices.
  • Auditing Subcontractors and operatives in respects to quality and compliance to Statutory Regulations and company procedures and record on AIMS.
  • Resource planning and supporting any recruitment for your teams including carrying out interviews, induction and ordering of tools and equipment, uniforms, and ID.
  • Manage the Annual leave for your team to avoid peaks and troughs and have a consistent workforce including Christmas and summer periods.
  • Manage the fleet allocated to your workstream.
  • Own the KPI’s relevant to your workstream and drive performance to exceed targets.
  • Support management of complaints
  • Manage subcontractors including compliance and profitability.
  • Ensure your team support the ECO rota to provide adequate cover for all shifts.
  • Take responsibility for your workstream tracker, ensuring this is updated daily and the relevant information is cascaded to your teams.

Shift Electrician

Equans is looking for a Shift Electrician to join our team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £45,000 per annum (including shift allowance). In addition you will receive an excellent benefits package. 

You will have opportunity to earn up to an additional £4,300 per annum for AP duties after training.

  • Working directly to the Electrical Supervisor, the post holder will have the required skills to ensure the safe and continuous operation of mechanical, electrical engineering services and building plant as part of a flexible maintenance team, including specialist subcontractors to deliver work to the highest of standards for our clients.
  • The main responsibilities include efficiently and effectively performing electrical maintenance of all relevant assets. Work will be assigned from a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule or in response to a reactive work order raised by our client representatives or our own personnel on site. All planned and reactive tasks will be managed through to completion, including fault diagnosis and sourcing parts where applicable. Must be able to demonstrate that awareness of best working practices and that these are always followed. Additional duties to include, working and managing backlog works, assisting when required for specialist projects.
  • Working as part of a wider M&E team, there may be a requirement to undertake other tasks that may not be specifically related to electrical systems.

Who are we looking for?

  • Must have successfully completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship and have a proven experience in a similar role carrying out electrical maintenance duties.
  • Hospital maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Be competent to undertake/assist work on the type of building service systems and equipment for which the appointment is sought.
  • Be familiar with the type of systems and equipment on which work is required to be undertaken.
  • Possess technical knowledge and sufficient experience to avoid any danger that may be presented by the work to be undertaken.
  • Have an adequate knowledge of and within the preceding three years have received training in first aid (including CPR Training). If not held, training will be given.
  • Desirable but not essential to have some knowledge of all the relevant Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM) and to work within Permit to Work procedures as appropriate. SHTM 06-02 Low voltage & SHTM06-03 High voltage systems
  • Must be able to obtain a Disclosure Scotland at a Basic Level

Dit ga je doen als Trainee
Als Trainee bij Equans in Rotterdam werk je aan 3 tot 4 verschillende opdrachten in 1,5 jaar. Vanuit ons kantoor bedienen we diverse klanten in de industrie, zoals AVR, Huntsman, Shin-Etsu. Je werkt aan uiteenlopende opdrachten bij klanten, of op interne afdelingen zoals Projecten, Procurement, Engineering, Calculatie, of HSE.

Tijdens jouw traineeship willen we jou als young professional zoveel mogelijk van Equans laten zien en een goede basis leggen voor jouw loopbaan. Samen met jouw traineebegeleid(st)er, die jou gedurende het traineeship uitdaagt en coacht, zoek je naar opdrachten die aansluiten bij jouw persoonlijke leerdoelen, ontwikkelbehoefte en interesse.

Aandacht voor jouw ontwikkeling
Je volgt een intensief opleidings- en ontwikkelingstraject ter waarde van €12.000, verzorgd door een extern opleidingsbureau. Dit doe je samen met andere trainees van Equans. Deze sessies dragen bij aan jouw persoonlijke ontwikkeling, versnellen je groei, vergroten je netwerk en verdiepen je kennis. De thema’s zijn Communicatie, Samenwerken, Profileren, Netwerken, Impact maken en Persoonlijk Leiderschap  Bovendien koppelen we je aan een buddy, vaak een (oud-)trainee, die je snel wegwijs maakt in de organisatie.

Ook bieden we specialistische technische cursussen en trainingen als jij deze nodig hebt om je traineeopdracht goed uit te kunnen voeren. 

Na afloop
Na het succesvol afronden van het traineeship kun je binnen Equans aan de slag in een uitdagende functie die past bij jouw carrière pad. Deze uitstroomrichting bepaal je samen met je begeleider. Eerdere trainees zijn na het traineeship uitgestroomd in functies zoals junior projectleider, contractmanagement, servicecoördinatie en maintenance engineering.

Infrastructure Project Manager (ANY LOCATION) (M/F)

General context and objectives of the role

Equans' Group IT Department is organized around Shared Line of Service that deliver global services to all the group's entities.

The Infrastructure Shared Line of Service (called SLS Infrastructure) of the Equans Group IT Department provides services relating to the public cloud (AWS and Azure) and network (interconnection network for the entities, secure connection of third parties to the Equans network, and global network services such as DNS, IPAM or remote connection for mobile or remote working employees).

Within SLS Infrastructure, the Project Manager is responsible for managing SLS projects. These may be either projects within the scope of SLS services (Cloud and Network) or projects involving other SLSs, such as application projects with a Cloud and/or Network component. In the latter case, the Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing work within the scope of the SLS Infrastructure and coordinating with the SLS Project Manager leading the project and, where appropriate, with other players in other SLSs.

Responsibilities

 

The Project Manager is responsible for

  • Initiating the project (preparation and planning, mobilizing contributors, setting up governance)
  • Managing the implementation of the project (deadlines, costs, quality)
  • Ensuring that the project goes live

To do this, he/she will work in collaboration with the SLS Cloud and Network Architects and experts, the Service Managers and the Cloud and Network Domain Managers. He/she also coordinates with the requester and with other Project Managers within the other SLSs in the event of a complex project involving several SLSs.

Projects may follow either V-cycle or agile methodology.

Main activities

 

  • Plan the project and monitor the schedule

Technical and functional skills

  • Mastery of public cloud infrastructures (AWS and Azure): IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, FaaS - architect-type certifications desirable
  • Good knowledge of network infrastructures (SDWAN/WAN, network services of public cloud operators, DNS, LAN, WLAN, firewalls)
  • Good knowledge of other areas of IT infrastructure: workstations, identity management (AD, AAD, SSO, MFA), messaging and collaboration (O365) and cybersecurity
  • Good knowledge of ITIL and the Demand Management > Projects > Release/Change Management > Operations processes
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams (Equans has operations in Europe, the Americas and Asia, and the outsourcer is based in India)
  • Mastery of the Fundamentals of V-cycle and agile (or iterative V-cycle) project implementation approaches
  • Ability to work in collaboration with an outsourcer who will be involved in the scoping phase and will carry out some of the project work
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Good drafting skills (in English) for project scoping, reporting and summary documents (e.g. to produce decision support documents or for presentation to an Architecture Committee, which may be required during the scoping phases).
  • Ability to assimilate the Equans IT costing and pricing model.

Projectmanager E&I

Dit ga je doen als Projectmanager E&I
Wij voeren projecten uit voor toonaangevende bedrijven in de energiedistributie en grootverbruikers zoals Enexis, Tennet, en Engie Energy. De projecten hebben een omvang tussen 10 en 30 miljoen euro. In deze sector ben jij verantwoordelijk voor complexe technische projecten.

Je speelt een cruciale rol in het offertetraject en bent verantwoordelijk vanaf de engineering tot aan de uitvoering. Je bent betrokken bij zowel nieuwbouwprojecten als modificaties en de spil tussen klant, engineering, realisatie en inkoop. Je geeft leiding aan een multidisciplinair projectteam met Werktuigbouwkundige en Elektrotechnische Engineers en Automatisering Deskundigen, diverse werkvoorbereiders, inkopers en constructiemanagers.

Je wordt hierbij ondersteund door contractmanagement (op afstand en soms ook op locatie) en je hebt ruime ervaring met de inrichting van de projectbeheersing zoals planning, projectcontrol, documentmanagement waarbij veiligheid en kwaliteit hierbij centraal staan. Je bent veelzijdig: voor kleinere opdrachten doe je de projectbeheersing deels zelf en val je terug op expertises binnen ons bedrijf. Bij grotere opdrachten richt je de projectbeheersing op je project helemaal zelf in.

Jij bent degene die zorgt voor structuur binnen het project en zorgt voor afstemming in tijd, geld en middelen met alle betrokken partijen, inclusief risicomanagement. Je hebt hierbij te maken met diverse stakeholders, zoals onze eigen productielocaties voor prefab (naast prefabricage in het buitenland) en het uitbesteden van werkpakketten bij een van de vele andere Equans bedrijven.

Je weet een gespiegelde organisatie in te richten waar je de balans weet te vinden tussen ontzorgen en tijdig escaleren. Je hebt ervaring met meervoudige rapportage naar het management via de Operationele lijn, Financiële lijn en Juridische lijn.
