Senior Account Manager
Equans is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team in Coleshill, Birmingham B46 1JU. This is a full-time, permanent role. On offer is a competitive salary, company car or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
This role is responsible for ensuring the continuity within the Equans contracts across Education covering various services such as M&E, building fabrication, security, cleaning service lines, amongst others, together with P&L responsibility for the contract, life cycle, continuous improvement, revenue growth together with the day to day management of people, processes, Quality and Health and Safety including liaising with Stakeholders, SPV’s and external customers.

Scope of Responsibility

Plumber
Equans is looking for a Plumber to join our team on the Lewisham Schools contract based onsite at Prendergast Ladywell School. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and in addition you will receive an excellent benefits package.
Working Hours will be 8 hours in between 6am and 6pm.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable operation, maintenance and repair of plumbing and associated building services systems. You will help ensure that the school environment remains safe, hygienic and fully operational for pupils, staff and visitors.
This is a customer-facing role requiring a professional approach, strong communication skills and the ability to respond effectively to planned and reactive maintenance requirements.
What will you deliver?
- Install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures and other plumbing systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and diagrams to determine installation requirements.
- Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, faults and other issues.
- Test systems to confirm safe and effective operation.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing call-outs and helpdesk events.

You will be a practical and reliable maintenance professional with a strong plumbing background and the ability to work independently.
You should have:
- Hold least Level 2 certification to demonstrate theoretical and practical competence in a relevant plumbing trade.

Mobile Water Treatment Technician
Equans is looking for a Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 3) to join our team in Scotland. The mobile role will cover the Central Belt Between Glasgow and Edinburgh. What will you deliver?
- Representing EQUANS Water Compliance as a Tier 3 Water Treatment Technician/Engineer to execute the self-delivery of all Water hygiene/treatment services across the Central Belt Between Glasgow and Edinburgh
- Tasks will include but not limited to; Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descales, Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections & Cleans, Cooling Tower Clean & Disinfections, TMV Servicing, Water Sampling, LTHW Systems Testing & Analysis, Dosing of Inhibitor & Biocide, Cooling System Testing & Analysis, Steam Boiler Testing & Analysis, Water Softener Servicing
- Dosing of Chemicals (Inhibitor and Biocide) into closed systems using dosing pot method or injection
- Cooling System Onsite Technical Testing and Analysis. The ability to interpret results and make suitable recommendations
- Plumbing Remedial Works, to include but not limited to: Deadleg removal, TMV Replacements or Installations including pipework modifications, Point of Use Water Heater Replacements, Flexible Hose Replacement or Hard piping, Expansion Vessel Installations or Rotations, Internal Calorifier Inspections, Cold Water Storage Tanks Remedials

What you’ll do:
- Support the Estates Management in the provision of a 24 hour maintenance service within the site
- Assist in completion of PPM’s and remedials on various electrical and mechanical equipment such as, but not limited to, RCD’s, RCBO, transformers, Emergency Lighting, and Motors.

Equans is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team at Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH) in Smethwick. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Undertake a proactive role in responding to reactive jobs to complete diagnostic, fault finding and repair to complex mechanical systems in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures and in compliance with legislation and guidance
- Obtain Competent Person status following training and instruction for systems such as low voltage electrical systems, access control systems, alarm systems and medical gas installations
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to services across site on various aspects of the building services in accordance with the PPM programme and personal competence and training
