Grounds Technician (mobile)

Equans is looking for a Grounds Technician to join our team in Falmer supporting the Southern Water contract. This is a full time role offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

• Support the Grounds Manager in overseeing Grounds Maintenance contract delivery across the Southern Water network.
• Promote a safety first culture, ensuring statutory compliance and safe working conditions for all employees and contractors on site.
• Undertake quality and monitoring audits across sites to ensure regulatory and Environmental Agency compliance.
• Manage non conformances and remedial works, including small on site repairs using strimmer and blower equipment.
• Participate in Statutory reservoir inspections as needed and deliver reactive and planned maintenance across approximately 4500 sites.
• Prepare quotes for additional works and apply weed control products following successful training.
• Collaborate with the client and supply partners to maintain high service standards and foster trusted relationships.

Who are you?

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have experience in Grounds Maintenance.
• Deliver strong customer relationship skills and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Demonstrate the ability to review and analyse performance data to identify and implement improvements.
• Experienced user of CAFM systems, Power BI, SAP, Excel, SharePoint, and other related software systems.

This role will require standard background checks relevant to working in regulated environments.
