Equans is looking for an IT Project Manager to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

The post holder can be based anywhere in the UK.

The primary purpose of the IT Project Manager role is to plan, manage and support the delivery of a workstream in the Equans Connect UK Programme. Connect UK is a major transformation programme that will consolidate 3 different ERP platforms into a single, SAP S4/Hana solution. Workstreams include Integration, Data Migration and Testing.

The post holder will lead the delivery of the Connect UK integration workstream. Ensure all integration requirements are  fully understood and have robust solutions. Work with Business Analysts / Solution Architects, application owners and Integration service providers to build and execute a realistic delivery plan. Coordinate technical activities including the selection of integration technologies and integration service providers to deliver the integration workstream deliverables. Provide leadership across the integration scope (SAP, CAFM, Coupa and the wider ERP subsystems) Manage delivery to plan from the multiple application owners and service providers involved in the delivery of the integration workstream. Apply structured governance and delivery management across agile and waterfall approaches, ensuring scope, milestones and acceptance criteria are met.

The ideal candidate would be an experienced IT Project manager with previous experience with ERP integrations.

What will you deliver?

  • End-to-end delivery ownership for the Connect UK IT Integration workstream. This includes all applicable governance requirements
  • Develop and maintain detailed plans, estimates and resource models; track progress and manage deviations
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (application, infrastructure, security, identity management) and third-party vendors
  • Manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies; escalate with clear options and recommendations
  • Ensure business readiness and smooth transition to service, including training, communications and hypercare
  • Oversee technical testing, UAT and production releases with appropriate change and release controls
  • Monitor and report on CAPEX/OPEX budgets, actuals and benefits realisation

Who are we looking for?

  • Project management – PRINCE2 / MSP Practitioner / Agile training certifications
  • Preferably with an IT service management qualification, e.g. ITIL foundation
  • Proven experience delivering complex IT projects, ideally involving ERP integration delivery
  • Strong understanding of integration technologies and middleware (MuleSoft, ACE)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with both agile and waterfall delivery methods; familiarity with Jira/Confluence and MS 365 toolset
  • Experience coordinating technical testing, change, release and transition activities
  • Clear, logical and rigorous thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Confident self-starter who takes initiative and drives decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; builds trusted relationships
