Cyber Cloud Architect

Summary of the role:

Cybersecurity is part of Equans Group Core values. Equans deployed global security solutions at group level in order to provide unified cybersecurity services. As a Cyber Cloud Architect, you will be defining the technical cybersecurity standards applicable in Equans deriving from Equans cybersecurity policies and solutions.

You will be defining mandatory security controls and authorized configuration templates and ensure that these standards are met in project reviews and SLS design authority committees.

You will participate in defining the long term cybersecurity strategy in terms of solutions portfolio, working closely with the Solutions Architects.

This position requires a broad knowledge of cybersecurity technical solutions and market trends, as well as the ability to deep dive in any of them in order to define detailed guidance and configuration templates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accountable for:

  • Defining mandatory cybersecurity standards and technical configuration templates.
  • Participating in project reviews and design authorities committees ensuring the standards are met.
  • Defining Equans cybersecurity solutions portfolio and strategy in the mid to long term in collaboration with others.
  • Driving or supporting cybersecurity projects and initiatives, global cybersecurity remediation projects or specific transverse projects such as M&As.

Responsible for:

  • Compliance of all SLS and Business Units projects’ to the group cybersecurity standards.
  • Review of deviations and exceptions with MBU and SLS s exceptions and timely remediation and convergence to the group standards.

Main tasks:

  • Validating projects, design authority decisions and changes with respect to the defined security standards.
  • Maintaining the global cybersecurity solutions portfolio and long term strategy.
  • Supporting Cybersecurity initiatives, remediation projects and solutions selection processes with multiple stakeholders, BUs and SLS.

PROFILE:

Academic background & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing Cybersecurity Architecture working with AWS or Azure, familiar with Zero Trust Architecture approach.
  • Broad technical experience with multiple vendors products, integration or pre-sales background preferred.
  • Experience of multiple business environments and ability to adapt to different cultures and maturity levels in order to set demanding but achievable cybersecurity targets, but not to forget about mandatory security standards.

  • Communicator: Ability to explain the rationale behind cybersecurity strategy and choices to different audiences, from project stakeholders to business executives.

Skills

  • Broad technical culture in the field of Cybersecurity solutions, from infrastructure to development, data, AI.
  • Ability to deep-dive in particular security products to the lowest level, defining detailed configuration templates.
  • Maintaining good relationships with multiple stakeholders in order to communicate the standards and take feedback from all the parties involved
  • Maintaining the vision of cybersecurity strategy and technical partnerships in the long term.
