Part Time Cleaner
Equans is looking for a Part time Cleaner to join our team in Atherton Police Station, Flapper Fold Lane M46 0HA on a permanent basis, This is a part time role working 15 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £10,519.85 per annum and benefits package.

What will you deliver?
As the on-site Cleaner, you’ll keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety whilst maintaining a professional manner with all members of staff and general public.
To undertake general cleaning duties as required including but not limited to the following: cleaning of floors, toilets, furniture and fittings, emptying bins and other receptacles and removal of rubbish.
You will be required to attend training programmes as necessary to meet contract requirements and for self-development purposes.
You will be required to go through enhanced vetting by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) covering criminal history.

Sustainability Compliance Officer
Equans is looking for a Sustainability Compliance Officer to join our team in Birmingham on a permanent basis to support the Regional Sustainability Team in adhering to scheme delivery requirements in line with funding and accreditation requirements and maintaining the necessary associated accreditations.
This role will be responsible for collating, validating and preparing PAS 2030:2023 compliance paperwork to Clients, Energy Suppliers and Accreditation Bodies on a weekly basis, operating within contractual deadlines to ensure compliance. This is a full-time role.

Contract Administrator - Helpdesk
Equans is looking for a Contract Administrator - Helpdesk to join our team on our Birmingham schools contract at Coleshill, Birmingham, B46 1JU on a permanent basis. This is a full-time shift based position working 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day between 07:00 and 19:00, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break. General Overview
The role operates across the Birmingham Schools Contracts, covering multiple school sites and a range of community properties that deliver healthcare services. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Technical supervisor will ensure adherence to both statutory and contractual compliance on 14 schools across the Rotherham Schools PFI Estate.

Complexity:
The Technical Supervisor will be responsible for the technical performance and maintenance of standards within the contracts working with and reporting to the Technical Services Manager. They will provide guidance to others on site, showing technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, to ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery.
•Manage a team of engineers to ensure the in-house delivery of technical services is efficient, timely and to a high standard.

Plumber
Equans is looking for a Plumber to join our team at Stobhill Hospital, Glasgow on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is competitive salary and in addition you will receive an excellent benefits package.
We are seeking a skilled Plumber with a recognised apprenticeship background to join our flexible maintenance team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, reliable operation and upkeep of building systems, plant, equipment, fabric, and grounds primarily at Stobhill Hospital, with support duties across other nearby NHS facilities as needed.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager through the Facilities Team Leader, you will undertake maintenance, repair, and minor project works across multiple sites. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and use of specialist tools and precision equipment to maintain a wide range of equipment and fabric within healthcare environments.

What will you deliver?
- Execute planned and reactive mechanical maintenance tasks on equipment including air handling units, calorifiers, heat stations, water and pressure systems, medical gas installations, and legionella control.
- Follow all EQUANS rules and statutory compliance requirements including Safe Operation Low Voltage, Mechanical, Pressure, Water, Medical Gas, Confined Spaces, and Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM).
- Produce and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments to manage safe working practices and Permit-to-Work issuance.
- Respond promptly to unplanned events to meet SLA requirements, minimizing downtime and avoiding contractual penalties.
- Assist with small works, variations, installations, improvements, and emergency repairs including out-of-hours duties and on-call rota participation.
- Liaise professionally with Facilities Team Leaders and NHS clients to coordinate plant or equipment failures, supply of parts, and required services.
- Maintain accurate electronic and hardcopy reports, test certificates, and task assessment sheets; suggest maintenance routine improvements.
- Use specialist and standard tools safely and maintain workshops, storage areas, and equipment in a clean, orderly state.
- Participate in training programs for new skills development and statutory compliance, including becoming an Appointed Person (AP) in relevant disciplines.
- Demonstrate teamwork by supporting colleagues and subcontractors effectively.
- Be flexible to travel to other Equans sites in the region based on business needs.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct in patient-facing clinical areas, respecting healthcare site protocols.

Who are we looking for?
- Must have successfully completed a recognised plumbing apprenticeship and have a proven experience in a similar role carrying out mechanical maintenance duties. Hospital maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.

Technical Services Manager
Equans is looking for an Technical Services Manager to join our team in Burnley on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
Reporting to the Account Manager, be responsible for management of the Technical Services Team, including specialist contractors, to ensure the safe and continuous operation of all sites within the contract.
The TSM coordinates site operations in compliance with company, contract and local operating procedures to ensure a standardised approach to Equans service delivery.
What will you deliver?
- Manage the onsite technical team including management of sickness, absence and holidays and involvement in appraisals and performance management
- Produce monthly reports for the Account Manager and ensure minimum service and unavailability deductions on all projects
- Ensure full compliance with relevant policies and procedures, codes of practice, statutory requirements and ensure professional standards are maintained;
- Develop and implement a dynamic planned preventative maintenance system to meet the changing requirements of the service and demands on plant and equipment;
- Ensuring both planned and reactive maintenance is carried out in line with budgetary and quality constraints and agreed service levels and legislation.
- Act as Technical Adviser to the Maintenance Team and relevant groups within the Company regarding management and operation of the engineering services, including the development and maintenance of contingency plans;
- Ensure risk assessments and method statements are in place as deemed necessary
- Ensure CAFM System is up to date at all times and ensure all reactive and PPM tasks are completed within project agreements.

Mobile Maintenance Assistant
Equans has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities team working on our Greater Manchester Police maintenance contract in Greater Manchester covering various police stations across Greater Manchester as required. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, plus participation in the on call rota (1 in 8 which includes weekends).

What will you deliver?
- Reporting to the Maintenance Manager
- To undertake any allocated jobs as directed by Maintenance Manager, in line with requests sent via PDA/mobile devices
- To respond promptly and efficiently to breakdowns and ensure all associated paperwork is completed in a satisfactory, accurate and prompt manner
- To carry out general duties including support by manual labour for relocations and moves, tidying and cleaning Estates areas and Plant rooms.
- Work alone with minimum supervision or within a team to carry out routine maintenance, repair, and cleaning activity across the estate
- Responsible for ensuring cleaning materials and chemicals are available at all sites
- Required to attend training programmes as necessary to meet contract requirements and for self-development purposes.
- Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with a one hour unpaid lunch break plus participation in the on call rota (1 in 8 which includes weekends).
Who are we looking for?
- Experience in a maintenance role and of PPM completion is desirable
