Part Time Afternoon Cleaner

Equans is recruiting for a Part time Afternoon Cleaner to be based in Noel Baker Academy DE24 0BR. This is a permanent role working 15 hours per week. On offer is salary of £9,341.85 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

49-week contract – 39 weeks = 15 hours a week

Monday -Friday 15:30 -18:30

4 weeks set holiday

No holiday is to be taken during term time or when deep cleans are taken place –

deep clean dates are given 1 year in advance which normally fall as below:

Deep clean 4 weeks a year

• February 1 week Monday – Friday 7am -11:30am

• April 1 week Monday – Friday 7am – 11:30am

• August 2 weeks Monday -Friday 7am -11:30am

What you will deliver

To carry out all work as requested.
• The Cleaning Operative will be expected to make sure that all their working areas in these premises are kept to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety and presentation.
• Report to Caretaker any maintenance issues that may arise. 
• Be used to working under pressure, problem solve and to use their initiative when necessary 
• Ensure to follow all company systems and processes. 
• Observe the site rules and maintain a smart appearance and wearing the companies uniform at all times.
• Be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and COSHH laws or regulations to make certain that all company Health and Safety policies, procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure that instructions for the maintenance, cleaning and storage of equipment are always followed.
• Ensure cupboards are kept clean and locked when not in use.
• Be proactive and creative in improving current best working practises, while following the company safety procedures.
• Be prepared to perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the Caretaker.
• Be willing to deal with individual customer requests in a polite and professional manner at all times to exceed the customer’s expectations.

For this role you must undergo an Enhanced DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

Who are you? 

Essential

Experience within the cleaning/hospitality industry with proven knowledge of housekeeping best practices.
• Good Timekeeping and attendance record.
• An outgoing personality with strong customer service focus.
• Proven experience of delivering a high-quality service with an eye for detail, and the ability to communicate those expectations to the rest of the team to achieve the same high standards. 

Desirable 
• BICS qualified or similar desirable

Part Time Cleaner

Equans is looking for a Part time Cleaner to join our team in Southern Water, Budds Farm Training Centre, PO9 1JW on a permanent basis working 4 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £2,797.60 per annum and benefits package.

• 4 hours per week, flexible working hours on Mondays between 8am and 5pm

This position provides a daily office cleaning service to the required standard, as outlined by the Cleaning Supervisor. This will include male & female toilets and kitchenettes and the associated replenishment of consumables.

Equans is looking for a Hygiene Services Assistant to join our team in Westminster, London on a permanent basis, This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £28,052.93 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:  

Monday to Friday

7.00am to 4.00pm

What will you deliver?

To clean offices, fixtures and fittings,  desks and work stations, meeting and training rooms, toilet and kitchen facilities,  carpeted and other flooring areas, reception areas and associated accommodation in order to maintain them in a clean and high hygienic standard.

Please note employment in this post is dependent upon obtaining security clearance; this requires 5 years’ residency in the UK and a valid British or EU passport.

Stores Person

Equans is looking for a Stores Person to join our facilities team at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package

• To operate & maintain the Equans Hard FM Stores & anciliary storage facilities ensuring stock levels are kept to the required quantities.
• To assist with the purchasing and progression of small works and variations supporting various contract leads. 
• Responsible for the day to day operation of the Estates stores involving the requisitioning of materials, stock control, goods receiving, receipting and dealing with invoice and delivery queries.
• This post will also include waste management, pest control and small works
• Assist with other Estates support/administration duties, dealing with client queries and requests for work, and assisting maintenance trade staff
• Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday
