- opvolgen van het onderhoudsplan van de installaties en voorstellen van verbeteringen

General Overview:

What will you deliver?
- Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems according to specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections to assess the condition of roofs and identify necessary repairs.

Equans is looking for a Part time Afternoon Cleaner to join our team in Barnstaple Magistrates, County and Family Court, North Walk, Barnstaple EX31 1DX on a permanent basis working 15 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £11.79 per hour and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience of a leadership role within the construction, or related industries
- Previous experience of a senior procurement role within the construction or related industries
- Experience of working on civil engineering, mechanical or electrical facilities in project focused roles
- Detailed of understanding of construction technology and methods
- Demonstrable experience of presenting complex technical, planning, and associated info to provide cost effective solutions

Join our dynamic team at EQUANS, where you'll play a key role in maintaining high-quality facilities and ensuring the smooth operation of our client sites. We are looking for a reliable and multi-skilled individual to take on this exciting opportunity.
About the Role:
As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance tasks, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs. You'll work on diverse tasks such as joinery, plumbing, painting, and tiling to ensure that all facilities are running efficiently and to the highest standard.
What You’ll Do:
- PPM & Reactive Maintenance: Complete all statutory and non-statutory PPM in accordance with the Annual PPM planner, and respond to reactive calls for joinery, plumbing, painting, and other tasks as needed.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all site logbooks are updated with relevant information and certifications. Adhere to risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), and complete all works to EQUANS’ quality procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Supervise/escort subcontractors to ensure security procedures are followed and that they work safely.
- Customer Service: Work closely with the Facilities team to ensure jobs are completed to customer satisfaction within the specified service level agreements (SLA).
- Health & Safety: Maintain high standards of safety and sustainability in line with EQUANS’ policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications & Experience: Recognised industry qualifications (C&G/NVQ required), with experience in joinery, plumbing, or other related skills.
- Desirable Qualifications: IPAF Powered Access Licence, PASMA, and First Aid certification (not essential but an advantage).
- Skills & Competencies: Experience in building maintenance, plumbing, and multi-skilled tasks. Strong reporting and estimating skills for quotations.
- Personal Attributes: Able to work independently or as part of a team, with a strong customer-focused approach. A professional and smart appearance is essential, as you will be the face of EQUANS when interacting with clients.

CAD Operator
Equans is looking for an CAD Operator to join our team in Stoke on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Auto CAD Operator performs a variety of design/drafting/space planning, room moves and lighting configurations activities group including preparing/updating installation drawings for projects, preparing assembly/manufacturing drawings, establishing guidelines and procedures for CAD data management, and managing workload distribution within the CAD department. Ideally also experienced in Bolster although training will be given.
What will you deliver?
- Survey and update existing ‘as built’ drawings
- Convert drawings to DWG format.
- Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with other teams to ensure consistent documentation of the projects.
- Ensure documentation is held for all aspects of the O&M manuals
- Update and maintain elecronic filing systems.
- Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation (such as drawings, bill of materials, list of design parameters, and performance guarantees) for future reference.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of third party items. Review and modify information with supervision by the Compliance Manager/Account Director / Project and Planning Managers (both Equans and Client side).
- Establish filing guidelines for drawings to maintain up-to-date drawings.
- Other duties as required relating to CAD database maintenance etc.

Performance Engineer

Equans Embedded Generation operates multiple customer sites with large-scale embedded energy capacity across the UK, providing specialist management of onsite generation for industrial processes and the ability to export to the Grid. We combine multiple technologies to meet our customers’ specific needs, and provide design, build, operate and maintenance services. Our skills and expertise can help industrial businesses to achieve their carbon reduction goals.
We are experts in many technologies, including combined heat and power (CHP), biomass, and energy from waste. By locating generation on customers’ sites we provide our customers with industry leading safety management, reduced energy costs and carbon footprint and assured energy security for their operational needs.
Key activities
The Plant Performance Engineer will be responsible for interpretation of plant design and plant operational data to monitor performance and identify performance shortfalls and improvement opportunities. The Performance Engineer will also provide guidance on management of installed assets on the various contracts/sites, advising the site teams on implementation of best practice to deliver continuous improvement in asset management and assisting the site teams in improving plant reliability, availability, and efficiency whilst minimising costs.
- Provide support and expertise to improve plant performance, and root cause analysis of plant performance degradation.
- Work with the team to deliver maximum efficiency from existing assets and scheme operation.
- Assist with ongoing analysis of the energy schemes trends and performance, diagnosing problems and making recommendations.
- Assist on delivering and implementing rectification plans to ensure that energy is delivered consistently and efficiently to meet contractual and financial requirements.
- Assist with investment proposals for capital investment projects in system optimisation.
- Carry out analysis that will improve current methodologies for tracking asset improvement projects savings.
- Support on optimising the existing business energy data collection platforms and data transfer from meters via Automated Meter Reading (AMR) devices.
- Review and support upgrade of existing CHPs and gas boilers process safety controls and control philosophy, including assets prioritisation use in the system.
- Develop a plant performance reporting structure for routine reporting to the Divisional Leadership Team
- Administer CHP QA and UK ETS for the divisional assets
- Prepare contractual performance reports for submission to the Customer
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Motivated and professional engineer who wishes to commit to a role which will provide both opportunity and challenge
- Qualified to a minimum 2:2 degree level in Mechanical, process or equivalent Engineering Discipline or equivalent proven experience.
- Membership or working towards membership of an appropriate Engineering Institution.
- Technical experience on some of the following: design and/or operation of energy schemes/centres, heating and cooling systems, CHPs, boilers, utilities, biomass power plants etc
- High level of proficiency in data analysis using Excel etc.
- Knowledge of the UK regulatory, energy and carbon policies would be an advantage
- Excellent communication both verbal and written
- Experience liaising with stakeholders and clients directly
