The role holder will work with and reporting in to the Accounts Director, supporting the Commercial, and Finance teams to produce measurable, continuous improvement to the performance of Tameside General Hospital.
What will you deliver?
- Form part of the on-site senior management team, delivering to agreed service levels within agreed budgets.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team to increase performance thorough consistency and innovation.
- Responsible for day-to-day operations.
- Support the Performance Manager and Senior Technical Services Manager on monthly deduction and service reports, daily/weekly updates, and other reports as required. Identify and minimise failures by providing advice, feedback, and updates to the team in the promotion of best practice in relation to payment mechanism deductions.
- Develop, agree, and review processes necessary to deliver the contract.
- Pro-actively offer solutions to improve performance, to include implementation of action/improvement plans where required.
- Undertake root-cause and trend analysis of performance data, ascertaining trends & documenting improvement actions developed with service managers to address challenges, variances, or risk.
- Develop working relationships with key clients & improve communication with the team and all other members of staff.

- IOSH Managing safely or similar H&S qualification

General overview

What will you deliver?

Lifecycle Project Site Supervisor
Equans is looking for a Lifecycle Project Site Supervisor to join our team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Manage the site delivery of capital works and lifecycle projects as part of the project delivery team at the QEH
- Supporting the project manager to manage site H&S, site management, snagging and hangover of every project, as required, including the monitoring of a team of Trade Operatives and Sub-Contractors
- Responsible for the supervision of sub-contractors delivering a wide range of project works
- Responsible for the efficient use of resources and ensuring that, job planning, appointments, materials, plant and equipment are effectively utilised and continuously improved in accordance with service delivery targets

- Manage Quality Control through a structured monitoring process and auditing

Apprentice Trainee Manager
Equans are recruiting for a X2 Apprentice Trainee Managers to be based in Birmingham on a 36 month fixed term contract. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.
General Overview:
The Apprentice Trainee Manager supports the safe and effective delivery of construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects within social housing properties. Working under the guidance of experienced Site and Project Managers, the role provides hands-on training in site supervision, compliance management, and operational delivery. The Trainee Site Manager will assist in coordinating operatives, subcontractors, and materials, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards — while maintaining excellent relationships with residents and clients.
What will you deliver?
- Assist the Site Manager in the planning, organisation, and day-to-day coordination of site activities across multiple social housing projects.
- Support the delivery of works in line with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, promoting a strong culture of safety and resident care.
- Help manage site logistics, including access, deliveries, and waste management, ensuring minimal disruption to residents and the local community.
- Contribute to site briefings, toolbox talks, and coordination meetings with trade teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Monitor works in progress, recording site activity, quality inspections, and progress updates using digital management systems.
- Assist in the supervision of subcontractors and operatives to ensure works are completed to specification, safely and efficiently.
- Support resident liaison activities, helping to communicate planned works, resolve basic queries, and promote a positive experience for tenants.

Senior Commercial Manager - PFI Expiry
Equans is looking for an Senior Commercial Manager - PFI Expiry to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
The Senior Commercial Manager will lead the development and delivery of the PFI Expiry Strategy across the portfolio of PFI contracts within Sustainable FM. Working closely with Operational Teams and Business Unit Directors to support the PFI expiry process, they will provide contract commercial analysis, risk and opportunity management along with driving continuous commercial improvement and implementation of lessons learned.
What will you deliver?
- Defining and/or advising on PFI expiry commercial strategy including development of asset and documentation sub-strategies.
- Aligning strategy between relevant internal experts and functional support including asset management, technical support, demobilisation and HR.
- Analysing and managing risk including assessing revenue opportunity vs. cost and risk. Flexing the expiry strategy to take account of alternative risk profiles between lifecycle financing and performance risk.
- Taking the Commercial lead with external stakeholders to identify and resolve challenges and potential areas for dispute within the expiry process. Managing the commercial viability of settlements and negotiated arrangements.

General Maintenance Operative
EQUANS are looking for a General Maintenance Operative (GMO) to be based at Southwark Crown Court for our HMCTS contract. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
Equans provide technical and soft services to our client HMCTS across a large portfolio of buildings across the UK. As part of the service, we provide low voltage electrical maintenance and installation services, and because of business growth, we are recruiting for additional roles to provide these services for our customer.
Main Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Fabric and limited Engineering Assets, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and EQUANS processes and procedures. This includes Legionella control and monitoring activities. Activities will include but not limited to –
•Inspect/repair floor, walls, ceilings and roofs
•Inspect /repair free standing and fitted furniture
•Inspect/clear drainage and gully systems
•Inspect/replace lamps / tubes
•Inspect/repair doors (Inc. Fire Doors), windows and associated furniture.
•Legionella duties – tap temps and flushing
•Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/notices
•Plantroom inspections and AHU filter changes
•Reactive repairs and initial attendance for toilets, leaks and blockages
•Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required
•Carry out reactive / Ad-Hoc activities – being the first response on site, and where appropriate taking immediate action to make safe
•Escorting contractors
•External Litter picking
•Flat roof cleaning, including gullies and drains
•Basic general grounds maintenance tasks
•Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
•Ensure that suitable consumables are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
•Ensure that all relevant paperwork/CAFM is completed regarding planned and reactive activities and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
•Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
•To develop a good working relationship with all members of Equans staff, subcontractors and the client representatives.
•Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment. To always include the wearing of uniform and PPE.
•Ensure the professional image of Equans is presented to clients at all times
•Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of Equans are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
•Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site carrying out associated Fabric tasks
•To arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
•To undertake lone working when and where required, subject to passing satisfactory training.
•Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
•Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's.
•Ensure CAFM system, e.g. Maximo, is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
•To carry out any other task as directed by the account management team.
The position will require you to provide support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.

•Support the Helpdesk as required when reporting or updating planned and reactive activities
•Be available for out of hours call-out support for the contract if required
Compliance
•To gain Technical Appointments as required e.g. LVCP and Water Hygiene CP to permit Lamp changing and L8 activities e.g. tap flushing
•Produce Condition / Dilapidation Reports as required for fabric assets
•Ensure supervisor is informed immediately if dangerous circumstances occur
SHEQ
•Comply with requests for information from SHEQ manager
•Ensure you work to company health and safety policy
•Ensue PPE is safe to use
•Report accident and near misses in a timely manner
•Ensure your test equipment is within calibration
•Ensure you follow Method Statements & Risk Assessments for all works
Impact:
Working to high standard of service, we require a fully reliable and competent Handyman/Fabric Tech who can work on own initiative, within a team or oversee subcontractor’s, producing good quality reports on their findings and work. The role will involve being the face of EQUANS so smart appearance and being able to discuss findings with others including customers is required.
Complexity:
The successful candidate will have the ability to work unaided and build rapports with end users and customers, promoting EQUANS’ values.
Have an excellent knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and/or painting/decorating techniques.
Have an eye for detail and be conscious of quality standards.

Vos missions principales :
- Préparer les interventions à réaliser (Sécurité, technique…),
