Equans UK is looking for a Infrastructure Assistant to join our Equans Digital Business based from our Leeds office on a hybrid working arrangement.

Role overview
The Infrastructure Assistant will provide broad operational and logistical support across a diverse range of activities within Infrastructure Services in the UK and Ireland. The role is designed to enhance efficiency and optimisation across surveying, environmental consulting, structural monitoring, and ground investigation teams.
Key activities
- Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support for all Infrastructure Services teams.
- Assist with coordination and delivery of surveying, environmental consulting, ground investigation, and structural monitoring projects.
- Organise and manage logistics for the transport of equipment and site personnel, ensuring movements are efficient and cost-effective.
- Act as the central point of contact for transport scheduling, route planning, and on-site logistics arrangements.
- Undertake site visits to perform Transport Coordination Officer (TCO) duties, support logistical planning, and assist with broader operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate project records and assist with data entry and basic reporting to ensure compliance and track performance.
- Liaise closely with internal teams to ensure responsive and flexible operational support.
Skills, qualifications and experience
- Previous experience in an administrative, operational, or logistics support role is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with surveying, environmental, engineering, or project coordination activities is desirable.
- Proficient with IT systems, including MS Office and data entry platforms.
- Strong organisational and written communication skills are essential.
- Willingness to undertake site visits as part of routine duties.
