Equans is looking for a Senior Project Manager (PFI Hand Back) to join our team on the Central & Southwest business unit on a 24 month fixed term contract basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, car allowance and benefits package.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will develop, track, and evaluate programmes to help achieve goals and objectives of the Central & Southwest business unit with regards to Centre of Best Practice PFI Handback. The role will require oversight of a Programme of Projects/Remedial Works/Defect Rectification Works relating to the Handback of PFI assets when they come to the end of the concession period.
What will you deliver?

Overseeing the overall management and performance of identified hand back programmes of work (either from internal surveys or external surveys) including feasibility reports, planning, design, construction, programme and commercial controls / monitoring, ensuring each project is delivered to time, budget and specification

Ensuring all Health and Safety metrics are achieved and to lead on a culture of behavioural safety across the delivery unit

Adherence with legislation CDM Regulations 2015 and Building Safety Act 2022

Adherence with contractual obligations applicable to each project, appreciating the obligations will differ from project to project

Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion

Building and sustaining an integrated, collaborative and high performance team that anticipates and responds to the needs of the organisation and key stakeholders

Who are you?

A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Surveying, , or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred

Accreditation to relevant professional institute is preferred (IEng, MCIOB, RICS, etc)

Demonstrable experience in project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery in the Construction industry in complex environments within a PFI environment

CSCS Black Card
-
NEBOSH General (construction)
This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check therefore ability to pass is essential.
