Equans are looking for a HRIS Data Analyst to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.
The candidate can be based anywhere in the UK, the role offers a flexible working environment.
The Data Analyst will support the HRIS Transformation programme, with a primary focus on data cleansing, data migration, and ensuring data integrity across HR systems. The role requires strong analytical capability, technical expertise in data tools, and the ability to work independently with stakeholders across HR and business functions.

What will you deliver?
- Analyse and assess current HR data landscape and data quality issues
- Perform data cleansing validation and standardization across multiple HR data sources
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, inconsistencies and gaps
- Support end-to-end data migration activities including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards for KPI tracking and reporting
- Translate business needs into data models and visual insights
- Continuously improve data processes using innovative techniques and automation
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with governance standards
- Lead data cleansing activities to prepare data for migration
- Develop and maintain data mappings between legacy and new HR systems
- Collaborate with HRBPs and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements
- Support data migration activities including extraction, transformation, and validation
- Build dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide insights
- Utilise Power Query for data transformation and automation
- Ensure data governance, consistency, and accuracy across systems
- Work independently to manage tasks in ambiguous and evolving environments
- Provide documentation of data structures, mappings, and processes

Who are we looking for?
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modelling)
- Proven experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, dashboard development)
- Experience in data cleansing, transformation, and migration projects
- Understanding of HR data structures and HRIS systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data management best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with large datasets and multiple data sources
- Experience in documenting technical processes and business requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
