Multiskilled Handy Person

EQUANS is looking for a Multi skilled Handy Person to join our team in Newman RC College Oldham, OL9 9QY on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,624.00 per annum and benefits package.

Shift times

Monday – Friday

Shift rotation

6am – 2.30pm

10am – 6.30pm

11.30am-8pm 

What will you deliver?

As the Multi skilled Handy Person you will undertake general duties, which include but are not limited to porter services (i.e. deliveries, exam set-ups); reactive cleaning (bodily fluid spillages); general maintenance (changing lamps, replacement ceiling tiles); carrying out of Planned Maintenance activities (Legionnaires checks, door condition checks, building fabric inspections, etc) working in all weathers (litter picking, gritting, leaf removal).

Who are we looking for?

 This role reports directly to the Facilities Manager, maintenance experience is advantageous, but not essential. However, the individual must:
•    Be keen, motivated and reliable
•    Able to promote good customer relationships
•    Have a proven track record of practical maintenance skills
•    Have good knowledge of Health and Safety
•    Have the ability to follow site and company policies and procedures
•    Cover lettings to meet business requirements
