Programme Manager

Equans is looking for a Programme Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

 

Working in collaboration with Category Hub Leaders – Indirect and Direct, Head of Procurement DE&S, SFM, P&C, the Procure to Perform - Programme Manager plays a crucial role in enabling the delivery of the Procure to PERFORM strategy. This involves ensuring high-quality service delivery, executing the PERFORM program’s strategic goals, and promoting an innovative approach to procurement.

The Procure to Perform - Programme Manager is a strategically focused role that actively participates in PERFORM program delivery and primarily seeks to drive value and financial benefit within the procurement function. Serving as an essential link between the execution of the PERFORM program and Equans’ overall strategic objectives, the main focus is on supporting initiatives that positively impact COP. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential, however the role prioritises engagements that attribute to financial benefit. In scenarios where financial value cannot be quantified, such activities fall outside of this position's support. This value-based approach ensures that efforts are aligned with the Equans financial targets and objectives maximising value of this position.

What will you deliver?

  • Implement and adhere to standardised project management approach, that ensure consistent execution and optimal outcomes for PERFORM Programme
  • Support the Category Management (CM) team in developing the PERFORM strategy, timelines, and reporting schedules
  • Support category strategy alignment to both the PERFORM Programme and business needs
  • Support delivery of the Procure to perform project commitments across the procurement function
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, dependencies and implement mitigation strategies
  • Offer a robust PMO service, emphasising project management best practices (support with strategy design and analysis)
  • Track and report on cost reduction achievements
  • Track and report on non-financial achievements
  • Support procurement stakeholders to validate budget impact
  • Actively troubleshoot, identifying bottlenecks and recommending process, governance, and best practice changes to ensure the successful delivery of PERFORM targets
  • Maintenance and enhancement of core central and operation procurement governance and guidance that can influence PERFOM Programme execution
  • Proactively analyse and identify areas of potential enhancement within the procurement processes. Where these is evidence of potential financial gains or advancements in the delivery of the PERFORM Programme, recommend, and champion the necessary process changes to capture these benefits
  • Champion change within the organisation, cultivating a culture of innovation and continual improvement in alignment with PERFORM targets
  • Demonstrate integrity, commitment, and accountability in all aspects of the project
  • Coordinate and ensure timely reporting based on the committed schedule, effectively communicating results and updates to relevant stakeholders

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous experience of a leadership role within the construction, or related industries
  • Previous experience of a senior procurement role within the construction or related industries
  • Experience of working on civil engineering, mechanical or electrical facilities in project focused roles
  • Detailed of understanding of construction technology and methods
  • Demonstrable experience of presenting complex technical, planning, and associated info to provide cost effective solutions
  • Significant experience in developing work winning solutions with operational and business development stakeholders to drive better technical solutions and outcomes
  • Recognised as a subject matter expert and capable of contributing to technical discussions specific to the category and supporting the development of valued engineering or alternative product selection
  • A strong and established network of category suppliers and subcontractors and the ability to make informed supply chain selection decisions based on project scope
  • Strong analytical abilities, and the ability to analyse complex category data to drive supply chain selectivity and risk mitigation
  • Have or be working towards a recognised e.g., CIPS, CIOB, RICS, ICE or similar relevant qualification is desirable

EQUANS is looking for a Site Administrator to join our team in Slough. This is a full time permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Data Analyst

EQUANS is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team based at our office in Quorum Business Park on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver? 

    • Monitor and maintain the organisation hierarchy in Employee Services systems, ensuring line management and costing structures are aligned with current business structure.
    • Work with Employee Services Team Leads to ensure appropriate audit controls are in place, meeting EQUANS standards.
    • Coordinate the contractor process to ensure key data is captured in SAP.
    • Co-ordinate the Cost Distribution Process, working closely with the SSC Finance Team and Finance Business Partners to ensure that all costs are updated in SAP in time for the Payroll run.
    • Co-ordinate, build, test and communicate UKBU HR Operations reporting from SAP using Query Manager or SAP Ad-Hoc reporter; demonstrating subject matter expertise in such systems to train others in their use, schedule patch uploads and co-ordinate any post patch regression testing. 
    • Co-ordinate the authorisations process within Employee Services systems, ensuring employees have the appropriate and relevant access rights within the boundaries of Data Protection.
    • Work with the Business Change team to ensure contract mobilisations and demobilisations are updated in Employee Services systems in a timely manner.
    • Co-ordinate the month end Payroll Controls process to ensure timely payments are made to third parties and liaise with third parties in relation to the breakdown of such payments.  
    • Provide support to the Team on Winshuttle activities such as building scripts and loading/verifying data. 
    • Lead the Annual Leave & Annual Salary Review upload processes, ensuring timely accurate delivery.
    • Appreciation of National Minimum Wage legislation and the impact on employees pay during the processing of National Minimum Wage uplifts. 
    • Ability to calculate salary and allowance payments when processing Annual Salary Reviews and Gender Pay Gap reporting. 
    • Co-ordinate audit activity for own work area, with timely monthly sign off.
    • Co-ordinate annual and monthly MI to ensure the business can make informed decisions. Identify and actively research options for digitalisation and improvements to current processes in line with EQUANS strategy.

Power Plant Technical Compliance Manager

Job Title: Fabric Engineer (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Are you an experienced Fabric Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact? We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team on the Stoke Schools PFI Contract for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is your chance to work across 88 sites in Stoke-on-Trent, carrying out essential fabric maintenance and repairs, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planned Maintenance: Carry out planned maintenance on fabric assets in line with contract specifications and industry best practices, including windows, fire doors, ironmongery, roofing, and more.
  • Reactive Maintenance: Perform minor repairs, including door/window furniture, joinery, painting & decorating, flooring, and ceiling repairs, adhering to contractual SLAs.
  • Minor Works: Undertake installation and minor fabric works in accordance with trade qualifications.
  • Health & Safety: Complete risk assessments, follow Safe Systems of Working (SSOW), and always work in a safe manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Stoke Schools engineering team, supporting other disciplines and providing lifecycle & defect reports.
  • Customer Communication: Proactively liaise with site staff to ensure smooth operations, and provide regular updates to the helpdesk on work order progress.
  • On-Call Support: Be part of an on-call rota for emergency repairs on the estate.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A formal apprenticeship in a relevant City & Guilds trade (fabric/maintenance).
  • Proven experience in building fabric repairs and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and risk assessments.
  • A full, clean driving license is essential.
  • An IPAF (MEWP) qualification is desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (subject to job offer).

About the Role:

As a Mobile Plumber, you will work as part of our in-house engineering team, delivering high-quality plumbing services to schools across the Stoke area. Your responsibilities will include fault finding, repairs, planned maintenance, and lifecycle reporting for plumbing assets, ensuring that everything runs smoothly for our clients.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct fault finding and repairs on plumbing systems.
  • Perform regular planned maintenance on plumbing assets.
  • Provide lifecycle and defect reports for mechanical systems.

  • Support other engineering disciplines as required.

About the Role:

As a Mobile Gas Engineer, you will work as part of our in-house engineering team to deliver both planned and reactive gas maintenance within Stoke Schools. You will be responsible for fault finding, repairs, regular maintenance of gas systems, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Fault find and repair gas-fired boiler plants and heating systems.
  • Perform regular planned maintenance on gas assets.
  • Provide lifecycle and defect reports on gas systems.
  • Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Communicate effectively with the helpdesk, site staff, and other engineering teams to ensure smooth operation.

Werkvoorbereider Installatietechniek

Krijg jij energie van hectiek, vind jij het leuk om met verschillende modificatie klussen tegelijk bezig te zijn en weet je daarbij de juiste prioriteiten te stellen? Wij zijn op zoek naar een werkvoorbereider die efficiënt de klussen oppakt die voortkomen uit modificatie, vervanging en verduurzaming bij onze contractklanten waaronder de diverse kazernes achter de hekken van defensie.

Dit ga je doen

Als Werkvoorbereider Installatietechniek ben jij de rechterhand van onze projectleider en speel jij een cruciale rol in het voorbereiden en begeleiden van verschillende kleine projecten, ook wel modificaties genoemd.

Deze modificaties komen voort uit onderhoudswerkzaamheden of worden aangevraagd door onze klanten. Jij zorgt ervoor dat alles van A tot Z geregeld is, van de aanvraag tot de oplevering, waarbij je altijd oog hebt voor zowel de kwaliteit als de kosten. Op die manier kunnen de werkzaamheden soepel, efficiënt en succesvol worden uitgevoerd.

Als Werkvoorbereider KSW ben jij degene die snel en nauwkeurig inschat welke materialen en hoeveel uren er nodig zijn om een modificatie succesvol te laten verlopen. Soms moet je offertes opvragen bij leveranciers of andere partijen en vaak stel je zelf een passende offerte op voor de klant. Zodra de klant akkoord geeft, ga jij aan de slag: je plant de monteurs in, bestelt de benodigde materialen en stemt de planning af met de klant.

Daarnaast ben jij degene die controleert of alles volgens plan en budget verloopt. Zo zorg je ervoor dat elke modificatie kwalitatief goed en binnen de afgesproken kosten wordt opgeleverd.

Om een goede invulling te geven aan deze functie ben je een echte teamspeler en daagt het jou uit om meerdere ballen tegelijkertijd in de lucht te houden. Je communiceert makkelijk en weet hoe je diverse stakeholders met je mee moet krijgen.

Als Uitvoerder Installatietechniek bij Equans ben jij de drijvende kracht achter de dagelijkse leiding op de bouwplaats. Je coördineert diverse grote nieuwbouw- en renovatieprojecten in Noord-Nederland. Denk aan projecten bij  ziekenhuizen, kantoren, datacentra & verduurzaming van gebouwen. Met jouw leiderschap en organisatorische talent zorg je ervoor dat alles volgens plan verloopt.   

  • je geeft dagelijkse leiding op de bouwplaats en instrueert, motiveert en controleert je team
