Jouw troeven?

Contract Manager


Are you looking for meaning and professional challenges?

We are currently looking for two Contract Managers for our Mobility and Transversal Integrated Solutions (TIS) Divisions. Both positions are based respectively in Aartselaar and Braine-l’Alleud.

What we expect from you as a Contract Manager within our operational divisions:

  • you ensure the follow-up of contractual obligations for several projects alongside the Project Manager
  • you act as the liaison between the Contract Management of the Division and the Contract Management department of Equans Belux
  • in this role, you are involved in the various phases of specific projects that we undertake
  • you report to the Division Managers Mobility & TIS with a functional link to the Direction of Contract Management of Equans Belux

And in concrete terms?

  • you assist the bidding team in preparing internal files for the analysis of contractual risks, planning, technical, and financial aspects that will be presented to the General Management
  • you monitor the contractual requirements of projects, accompany teams in the interpretation of contractual terms, and the development of strategy
  • you support project managers in managing customer contracts, consortia, subcontracting, and supply
  • you contribute to the implementation of processes and tools necessary for contract execution monitoring
  • you draft and monitor correspondence and project notifications/events, and contribute to achieving the economic objectives of projects
  • in collaboration with the project team, you supervise the evaluation and management of contractual risks and anticipate opportunities to maximize their realization
  • you support the project leader in negotiations with various stakeholders regarding contractual issues
  • you handle pre-dispute situations with the support of the legal department, compile claims files, and provide the project team with advice on the strategy to follow
  • you develop internal training on various recurring contractual topics that you identify and present to project teams
  • you work closely with various internal departments (Insurance, Legal, Project & Risk Performance, Finance, Purchase)
  • you contribute to maintaining a good relationship with the client, partners, and subcontractors
  • you exchange ideas with your colleagues, contract managers, in the Belux and Europe division and participate with them in its coordination

Regular travel to project sites is expected to gain a concrete and clear understanding of the circumstances.

  • you have excellent professional knowledge of Dutch and a good understanding of French and English

Project Site Coördinator - Openbare verlichting - Signalisatie - ANPR - Tunnels

Voor Roads North in Aartselaar zoeken wij een Project Site Coördinator.

Je bent in eerste fase verantwoordelijke voor het opmaken van studiedocumenten (concept + uitvoeringsplannen) van elektrische systemen langs wegen (verlichting/camera's/slagbomen, inclusief de spanningsverdeling).

Part Time Afternoon Cleaner

Equans is looking for a Part time Afternoon Cleaner to join our team in Ipswich County Court, Arcade Chamber, 8 Arcade St, Ipswich, IP1 1EJ on a permanent basis working 10 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £11.79 per hour and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

Monday - Friday 15:00pm - 17:00pm

What will you deliver?

As the on-site Cleaner, you’ll keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety whilst maintaining a professional manner with all members of staff and general public. 

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

BPSS Quick Guide

In order to meet our customers requirements, the post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). This is a form of Security Clearance set out by the Government which goes through several checks.

These checks typically include:

  • Identity Verification: Passport, photo ID, birth certificate, etc.
  • Employment History (past 3 years): Any gaps will require HMRC statements for the period in question.
  • Right to Work Status in the UK: Citizenship or valid share code.
  • Unspent Criminal Record: Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
  • Significant Periods Abroad: Any periods of 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years.

Project Engineer - Mechanical

Equans Data Centers are seeking to appoint Project Engineer – Mechanical, to support our growing Data Centre business in Newport, South Wales.

We are committed to providing cutting edge solutions for our clients Data Centre facilities and are recruting a Project Engineer – Mechanical to join our innovative team in projects based in the UK. The Project Engineer – Mechanical will be part of the team responsible for managing the construction aspects of large projects from inception to completion, within set timescales, to high quality standards and within health and safety guidelines.

What you will deliver?

  • Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards
  • Assist with co-ordinate and control the on-site construction process ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan
  • Liaise with Statutory Authorities and Local Authorities as directed by the Site Manager in the submission of all Building Regulation cards as required to allow the progress of the project
  • Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for Progress Reports
  • Chair and minute the subcontractor meetings in the absence of the Site or Project Manager
  • Assist the Site Manager in the management of materials
  • Record keeping (diary, drawing register, H&S, COSHH Assessments, As built drawings, Levels & Foundations records, site H&S file)
  • Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality environmental and safety requirements

Maintenance Assistant

Equans is a renowned energies & services contractor and a proud member of the Bouygues global industrial group. Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Facilities Management team based at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford.  This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

The role:

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager - Estates
  • To undertake the maintenance of the building as directed by the PPM schedule and the management, using the appropriate trade skills required
  • Work alone with minimum supervision or within a team to carry out maintenance/repair of M&E services plant and equipment across the site.
  • To integrate and communicate effectively with other trade staff such as engineers particularly for M&E maintenance, new and remedial works.
  • To carry out M&E works as required i.e. new works, refurbishment and capital works replacement programme.
  • Working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with a requirement to work flexible hours to suit the operational needs of the site as required

The person:

  • Previous basic electrical or mechanical/plumbing knowledge is essential
  • Ability to undertake PPM and Reactive tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • IT literate, with good numerical and written skills
  • Previous experience working in a hospital environment is desirable
  • Desirable to have a good knowledge of health and safety legislation & requirements
